This is however, a great buy for something around the 50 dollar mark that somebody such as myself was willing to dump into making waffles
Just under ones I used in restaurants, leaks a little when flipping, gotta squeeze as u turn to not leak lot, locks turned.
But, overall it’s a great buy.

This is not a heavy-duty waffle iron, nor does it have removable grates, but for the cost, it is very good and does the job.
So, the READY light does not mean that the waffle is ready, only that the temperature set point has been reached (where the light on most irons goes off, as noted above).

Again, why a temperature control and 3 lights when one light on the sand that would go out to let you know the iron is hot would be sufficient?

After lightly oiling, pre-heating, and selecting desired “doneness” (just past the halfway position) the ready light comes on one minute after adding batter
