Piece of garbage, recommend just learning guitar the old fashioned way.
We bought it for our daughter for Christmas as her brother had gifted her with a beautiful acoustic guitar and was teaching her tomplay when he moved.
We tried an open tuning so she could play her four chords just as barr chords, but she still didn't really have the strength and when I left from my visit it seemed like the guitar was going to gather dust in the corner, just another "good intention."But, still trying to find a way to help my mom enjoy something she loves, when I got
The chord buddy didn't fit his good guitar and that was discouraging.
Very happy with chord buddy, never played guitar before, allows me to play
I loved the chord buddy because it helped my mom 100% to be able to play the gutair in just 1 week
The "Chord Buddy" looks like a great concept for developing a sense of accomplishment for a beginning student - but the product is difficult to install all of the guitars that I have.
Chord buddy is great but the clip on tuner was not shipped with product

The concept is great but it doesn't fit the wide neck of a folk guitar at all
The actual Cord Buddy, or should I say Cord FLUBBY, Wow, great concept but VERY VERY POORLY executed; needs a ground up re-design.

Really is a neat system, but will not fit on a wide neck classical guitar.
The system isn't as easy to use as they make it out to be, had to go to our local guitar store and ask for assistance to get it set up correctly for my son
It would seem that the system should easily have a capability of accepting wider necks - and the plastic arms that control the string pads should be more robust.
