You have to call Cisco support in order to even find out the licenses you need, but then they don't sell them, so back to the reseller, who in turn has to go to Cisco to get the license key, which then hopefully makes it back to you, which somehow gets entered.

Cisco support suggested a factory reset to fix it as the only suggestion, no thanks, I can live with this for now, but Cisco really needs to fix this with another patch

The RV340 now sits on a shelf, pending any insight into these issues or perhaps a firmware update that cures the behavior

I could see this behavior being appropriate for load-balancing across multiple WANs, but I wasn't using that mode.

No changes were made to it aside from applying the firmware update, so pretty safe to say it is the update that caused it

The router itself since I commissioned it around December of 2017 has had 100% uptime, no issues with it dropping out and dumping our internet connection or VPN services, gets full speed upload/download provided by our dedicated fiber internet connection for our processing plant, very good reliability

However, I found that getting the AnyConnect licenses to work on this are a nightmare and required assistance from support a couple of times and from a couple of different departments, even after creating the Smart Account

I had almost no issues setting it up and was able to commission it relatively quickly, have seen no reliability issues so far, and the throughput speeds are perfect

There are different options at different costs for the AnyConnect licenses, some of the security features (like web filtering and a couple of others) also require an additional license

There apparently is no CLi option for configuration, and it is all done through the web GUI, of which overall really I found to be just fine even though a CLi option would be nice, and aside from dealing with the VLAN setup.

I was hoping that the RV340 would be a big improvement over the RV320 which is now getting very old

Upon reboot (or power cycle) the RV340 reliably fails to update the WAN port MAC address with the customized value (i.e. MAC address powers up as the factory default)
