ClearStream 4 Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna with Mount - 70 Mile Range
Style:Antenna + Mount
The Clear Stream 4 Quad-Loop design receives all UHF channels available with a 65+ mile range and is ideal for rural installations or suburban areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials reduce incoming signal strength.
A great product, quality workmanship and fast delivery.
If you are looking to move to an Antenna, I would recommend this product.
Now I learned a lesson, don't trust a product simply because it looks very high tech and
, sometime it cannot even work 1/4 as an old time product.
I would not recommend this product, I was expensive and although installed by expert installers, not me, in my roof space, it would not pick up all the channels that my cheap, stuck on the wall, flat antenna did,
I chose the channel with the worst reception and honed in on getting that channel to come in
We're situated 60-70 miles from two major cities, and had spotty reception with our enormous, but old, TV antenna.
This antenna recognized about 10 channels, and made me adjust the antenna to every single channel to get the best possible reception and was easily interfered with my body
, 29-?.Note: I did notice that reception was poorer during the day (1:00pm-6:00pm)
We get good reception with it for channels 25 miles away.
Playing around with the antenna in my south San Jose kitchen my cheap LED TV picked up 9 stations, all the PBS stations which is what I was interested in.
I bought this antenna for my house as I can not afford cable / satellite tv
Easy to assemble and hang, then just point it in the direction of the broadcast stations and sit back and watch free HD TV.
Mounted in attic and get crystal clear digital TV stations
It makes it very easy to disconnect from cable as long as you have a smart TV.
I will say when it is adverse weather the signal does degrade bit
Having said that, in bad weather, our reception suffers
The CS-4 works fabulously... however, understand that weather, including fronts, rain, snow, humidity, sunrise, sunset or any number of things can affect signals traveling over the air
and it seems to be withstanding the weather pretty well.
We are in North Texas and get all the basics even in bad weather
Works great, I get lots of local channels I never have gotten before.
(Except for their internet service, lol)For Christmas, my kids got me a Sony BPD-S3500 Blu-ray/DVD player that streams Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, HuluPlus, Crackle, blah, blah, blah... and lots more... which works by direct internet plug-in or wireless
I was disappointed at first because whenever the wind would kick up I lost a lot of channels
When it went in the attic above my garage (where the cable patch panel is), several strong channels in the upper UHF lost a lot of signal.
It's fine for a guest room or a child's room but a lot of the channels are useless!
