The mat is a very good quality mat; however, it slides about on the carpet since there are no teeth on the bottom of it to keep it in place.

It was shipped flat (so no problems with laying flat right out of the box), has no odor, no stickers other than a very small one held on by very low-tack adhesive that was removed easily with no residue (the sticker identified the top surface of the mat).

Polycarbonate is more expensive than other materials but obviously cheaper than replacing a floor or having to look at discolorations caused by a cheap mat for years to come
