I thought these pedal connectors were a great idea when I bought them, saving space and are aesthetically pleasing, that is until I saw a video about how they damage effects pedals

They would work fine if all effects pedalos had exactly the same measurements for the input/ output and if they were all in the4 same place, but since they are commonly in dissimilar locations and at dissimilar heights, stepping on the pedals places immense pressure on the jacks to the point the circuitr5y can be irreparably damaged
