Great time with a family!

Played this game at a hotel retreat and had a great time with other couples!

My family loves games and have a difficult time finding a "new" game that is challenging yet fun.

Everyone had a great time.

it crosses age groups easily (I've played with family and friends aged 12 to 60+ years) and we've always had a fine time

It scales relatively well and I have played it with ~14 people and everyone still had a great time

Every time we bring this game out people love it

Literally everyone, non-gamers included, has had a good time playing this any time I've brought it out.

Was overall a pretty good time, ended up playing 3 or 4 rounds the first night

My all-time best clue being a six card clue (resulting in 4 picks at first)

It's pretty simple but my family had a hard time getting started with everything as some of the instructions are a little vague or just suggestions on how you can play.

Everyone had a great time playing it; highly recommend for people that hosts parties, larger groups of bg nights.

Even family members that don't typically enjoy playing board games had a great time.

This one is a very slow playing game that feels like time drags on.

Trying to find a clue that will convey the right information can be a bit challenging depending on the combination of words on the table sometimes, but anyone prone to "Analysis Paralysis" will have a tough time of it

Only con is the wait time coming up with clues as a spy master

The game is fun but the plastic card stand broke the first time we played the game

I haven't played it, but my kids (including adult kids) are having a great time with it.

Always have a good time bringing this out and the rules make it simple enough to teach to new players in a flash.

Whether you are giving the one word clue or trying to guess what word your partner is trying to make you guess, Codenames is definitely going to be an enjoyable time for everyone

I've played this game with friends, colleagues and complete strangers, and had great fun each time.

The first time I played Codenames, I really enjoyed the gameplay, the thinking that goes into being the codemaster, the challenge of figuring out the codemaster's reasoning.

People love it every time we play it and my friends always ask me to bring it for parties and gatherings

However, the shipping, product, etc. everything came in good time and was well packaged.

It was a little slow getting into it, but then we had the best time!

The only games I have that just me and my wife can sit down together at the table and play are Dominion and Ticket to Ride (which are both moderate time commitments), and Carcassonne (which we can't play because she's pregnant right now, so she can't be on the floor for very long, and we don't have a big enough table.)So I've been looking for games we can just sit down and play together in less than 30 mins, and still have a good time, which is why I decided to try out Codenames

Most games have some element of luck, and I get that it's just a party game, but it just feels silly every time a team pulls off a win due to a 100% random guess

We played it on Christmas Eve before opening presents, and I had a hard time getting everyone to stop playing long enough to get to the presents

I'll be able to pull this out with any type of group (gaming, friends, family, work, etc.) and have a great time
