This hook is the perfect shape (a nice u-shaped opening) for a curtain rod, whereas some others create a "pocket" that's more of a v-shape or flat shape where curtain rods might not rest as firmly (although they'd probably still hold up well).
I love command products and never have had a problem with them
Love all the 3M Command hooks, but the medium size ones (3 lb) are my favorite, as they are small enough to fit in most spaces, but are strong enough for most day-to-day things (perhaps not a vaccum cleaner or a
They are the perfect size for what I need and very easy to install.
These are a nice size but are not able to hold as much weight as I thought
This size worked perfect, unlike smaller ones that didn't stick.
These were a perfect size to hold a dowel stick with a banner hanging on it.
I used the alcohol to clean the wall first, stuck them on and held for 10 seconds, then removed the hook and firmly pressed the base for another 30 seconds.
The only up side is that it didn't damage my plaster walls at all when it fell, but now I'm going to have to put a nail in my plaster wall to hang the wreath.

No wall damage!
I followed the directions exactly, I used an eye glass wipe to clean the wall since it's alcohol, and it's holding great.
I have a home office and asked my husband to hang a couple of hooks for me to hang things like a headset and other light items that I don't want resting on flat surfaces taking up space
So nice to know with command strips that we don't have to drill holes in the wall or tile to hang things up and they come off easily and clean.
With an older home there isn't always a place to hang things, so these hooks have come in very handy.
The nice thing about command strips is they don't damage your walls if removed properly.

As for looks, they do look fairly good, at least for a cheap plastic hanger.
If I was using one of these "scratchy-back hooks' on TILE it wouldn't be an issue as plastic isn't going to scuff up tile like it would painted drywall.
I haven't tried to see how much weight they will actually hold since you secure the plastic then snap on the hook,,
Does not stick and all thin cheap plastic.. sitting in the garbage.. nails or thumb tacks do a better job
Yes they're plastic, but they're nice-looking fake metal plastic
We used these in my daughter's dorm room to hold up a cafe rod for curtains well below the 5 pound weight limit recommendation
I bought these particular hooks as a temporary solution to hanging curtains in a window with no blinds

Curtain was up for maybe 24 hours before they completely fell off the wall
We actually have been using these exact strips to hang out curtains and they hold them with ease and look great
I'm not sure how the removeable feature works (if it leaves residue or damages the paint), but so far they have held up in the humidity of my bathroom very well.
They are easy to take down and put back up (although the one that fell down pulled paint and some of the wall off).
*those* are flat-and-smooth on the back and so nothing to scratch the paint.
There is a small piece sticking out on either side of the back/bottom, and when you are sliding this over a painted surface, those little poking pieces can scratch the paint - and it did.
