Because it is noise cancelling, when I use it with my loud fan running, you can't hear the background noise at all.

It does fine picking up my voice, doesn't pick up a lot of background noise, but there's a lot of white noise that happens specifically when I'm talking - which makes it extremely difficult to get rid of in an editing software for someone with not a lot of experience with editing
