My doc said no running on pavement or rock climbing, so now burn calories by walking
-
this treadmill has basic features such as distance, calories, and time and works great for walking/running.
-
but I still burn the calories,
-
Going 2 mph for 8 hours a day burns about 1,600 calories which is equivalent to the calories in a pound of cheesecake or two pints of ice cream every day
-
At my body weight--about 190 pounds--I can burn about 200 calories an hour when walking 2 miles per hour (the treadmill feels like it runs slow, so I set it to 2.5 mph)
-
That jerking kinda ruins my stride as I was not a natural walking sensation, but if you can imerse yourself into watching Tv or whateve distraction you might have to accompany you during your walk, you can ALMOST ignore it.
-
I'm sure this is great for people with smaller frames, but it definitely doesn't work as it should for medium to large ones
-
Just hit start and push the button to make it go as fast as you want
-
The speaker is annoying as
-
I've also noticed the instructions state you shouldn't be on the unit when staring it, but standing off the belt, on the side rails--this is odd, since it then requires you to hop on and it jerks as you do
-
The buttons push fine and work as they should
-
However it broke as of a week ago and it is because this machine was NOT MENT FOR RUNNING!!!!!!
