while I'm not sure why this is happening, I would recommend purchasing a different one which will work more reliably.

Once I got it set up, I was really amazed at how good the coverage was.
I tried this in a fenced in patio behind my house to attempt better coverage for my back yard
Thrilled to have better and still secure wifi coverage for a very reasonable price.
This did increase the strength of my signal within a block building, but as it doesn't support 5G, I get a slower speed overall.
so hopefully my notes above help2. does not seem to support 5G in repeater mode (not sure if other modes support this, just set it up)I will update more as get more usage with the device

I bought this extender because I was needing a little bit more of a stronger connection on the other end of the house.
The connection is a little slower than normal but slow is better than none!
Moved the device to a few different locations in the house with the same experience: when it's working, the connection is pretty slow (especially when trying to watch videos)
Wake up less than 12 hours later and it once again lost connection and needs resetting
I bought this to solve a wifi issue with a device that would only support a hard wired network connection (a usb wifi adapter didn't work).
