Those who complain about it not reducing static are missing the point - it doesn't really take much static off a record, but it also doesn't add static to the record like felt does.

But it's still a very nice dampener and does look nice.

Wasn't ready to spend $60 on a real audiophile one and this one does the Job I need it to do.
