Excellent construction, but poorly designed: The adapter is shorter than a desktop drive, so they will not mount in a lot of cases, as that last set of mounting holes are missing.
This dual 3.5" to 5.25" drive bay adapter bracket is sturdy and well-designed, as is typical of Corsair products.
Since it will not support great weight or stress, it's ok, but the design is fault

Pros:-Easy to install, both the SSD into the bracket and the bracket into the drive bay.-Simple and sleek design, high quality build.
It works fine, the SSD is secure in my tower, but it was a bit of a pain to get the drive into the bracket
The SSD was just hanging loosely and eventually disconnected from the SATA cable
I had no issues installing my SSD with this mounting bracket.
The ssd is currently lying loose on top of the machine.

If your cage has only the two mounting holes that are 4" apart (as many desktops do), this bracket will not work
I would NOT recommend this bracket unless you are prepared for jerry-rigging!
If your cases uses only the outer most holes of a hard drive to secure the drive, or your case has drive trays that only have the outer most holes, THIS MOUNTING BRACKET WILL NOT WORK.
I even attempted to modify both the Gateway hot swap caddy and this Corsair product in order to attempt to rectify some issues with mounting this bracket inside the caddy.
Nice bracket for mounting a new 2.5" SSD into my desktop.

Good, solid mounting bay for SSD drives, I particularly like the bit of breathing room between the two SSDs that one can mount.
Also future buyers should note that when installing two SSD/HDDs onto the bracket, do not tighten the bottom bay SSD/HDD screws fully, as you would not be able to fit the other SSD/HDD on the top bay.
I only used the hard drive bay, so cannot speak how it handled for optical drive.

Only 4 stars because the screws are a bit awkward to get in with the way its designed.
It's a bit tricky to figure out which way to put the drive in at first - do a dry run before tightening down all the screws.
