It securely held the drive and slide right into a hard drive bay in my PC.
-
Works great to secure a solid state drive to a hard drive bay in a desktop computer.
-
Worked perfectly, allowing mounting of a 70mm wide" SSD into my desktop which only has 100mm bays available.
-
I only used the hard drive bay, so cannot speak how it handled for optical drive.
-
but... it wasn't compatible with the hard drive bay in my case
-
Should fit most any standard 2.5" drive and most any standard 3.5" hard drive bay.
-
The screw holes did not line up with my computer's hard drive bay, but I managed to get it in there snug with no screws.
-
Used it to make sure my SSD fit in the 5.25 hard drive bay.
-
I have like 15 3.5" bays, but no 2.5"... now i do.
-
I would highly recommend this mounting bracket for anyone looking to put their SSDs in a computer with a classic 3.5" hard drive bay
-
Good, solid mounting bay for SSD drives, I particularly like the bit of breathing room between the two SSDs that one can mount.
-
Also future buyers should note that when installing two SSD/HDDs onto the bracket, do not tighten the bottom bay SSD/HDD screws fully, as you would not be able to fit the other SSD/HDD on the top bay.
-
Doesn’t work on Mac Pro towers , 3.5 bays
-
Up until now, I've always had to buy separate hard drive bays for my SSDs, but now I can fit two in one bracket
-
Anyone that gives this a negative review for alignment is trying to put it in the wrong bay
