Also, this does "fit" in a 3.5" bay, however, the screw holes are not the standard spacing for a 3.5" HDD, it will only line up with the first two holes on a 3.5" HDD, so if you are using a case that requires using the further holes on a hard drive (OEM HP is what I'm working with) then it won't fit snugly.
