Purchased this item with the understanding that the CD and cassette players as well as the AM/FM radio would all work.

We wanted to like this CD player but the first one we bought came damaged and partially opened, which amazon replaced

Works as well as I expected for a compact player, wasn't looking to spend a whole lot of money for a superior system and this satisfied my need for nostalgia.

The manufacturer is difficult to work with, not customer friendly, and does not respond when you ask for them to replace the defective player under their warranty.
