Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • But for their size, Creative did put some thought into making the most out of the available power and speaker size
  • The size is right for our computer room and space is an issue and with these speakers it's all really good, Sound quality is just fine for our family.
  • Good industrial design with simple and attractive truncated spherical form, right-sized knob for on/off and volume, and just-right green LED power indicator.
  • the were the perfect size but not the quality of my old ones that were the same price.

Reviews around value (4.80 of 5)

  • if you need speakers for gaming or even movies and music on your computer then these are an amazing value
  • Have had these for a month now and use them all the time, great value for money and sounds is good but often when nothing is playing they make a slight whistle chirp noise, when shielding the wires the interference sound is gone but kind of annoying.
  • These desktop-powered speakers sound pretty good, great value for the money
  • I like their looks and these are a great value for their price point.
  • He said he'd report it to the company and that he'd issue an RMA.Since this is Amazon, it was easier to replace it.

Reviews around price (4.58 of 5)

  • When I set them up, I was really disappointed that the sound didn't warrant the hefty price tag and ended up returning them for these speakers
  • Unfortunately, the difference in volume, even when turned up all the way, is almost imperceptible-- certainly not worth the price as opposed to what I paid for the iHome.
  • If price is not an issue by Bose from the Bose store or Thursday or three other brands out there that you can buy directly from the manufacturer then rather than getting ripped off by Amazon as usual
  • The sound is really good and definitely a great price for the quality
  • Amazing speakers with outstanding sound quality and awesome price

Reviews around look (4.53 of 5)

  • These speakers went to my aunt and she loves the look and sound of them!
  • Needed some nice looking speakers for my office but didn't want to break the bank
  • They are also a little more tinny than the cheap-o speakers they replaced
  • Would recommend if you're looking for nice budget speakers.
  • These are good looking speakers, small in size but large in volume and quality.

Reviews around design (4.49 of 5)

  • For 20$, you get amazing quality, a cool unique design and really good quality
  • Solidly made, very attractive design, and excellent sound
  • For anyone interested these use a passive radiator design on the back side and this probably contributes to their higher-than-expected performance
  • Design isn't half bad either.
  • Plus the design looks very cool, and fits at the edge of my desk without taking up any room at all.

Reviews around music (4.45 of 5)

  • Usually, with cheap speakers, they have trouble playing voices (like podcasts) at the same quality as music, but these don't have that issue
  • Sound is rich enough that I can enjoy music as well as audiobooks
  • Great for everything from very quiet background sounds to loud music
  • Not room rocking bass but plenty to make the music sound good and accurate
  • I usually have them playing music in the background while working on another PC.

Reviews around product (4.28 of 5)

  • They are also a little more tinny than the cheap-o speakers they replaced
  • If it wasn't for the screeching noise I'd recommend this product to anyone
  • All in all, a terrific product for its price range and intended use.
  • Had creative products in past and liked honest appraisals of capabilities
  • If you are not an audiophile and want a good basic speaker that looks great on your desk at the office I would strongly recommend this product.

Reviews around bass (4.17 of 5)

  • Of course they distort a bit when pushed too hard, obviously the bass is not quite there but both are to be expected from such a small speakers
  • I am very happy with these speakers they have decent bass and good volume.
  • The bass will break a little at higher volumes, but overall they sound warm and responsive, not tinny like most cheap speakers.
  • Bass is a little weak, but overall the physical quality as well as the sound quality are very appropriate to the price.
  • They lack bass but that is expected with no sub woofer.

Reviews around thing (4.03 of 5)

  • Great little desktop speakers, just what I expected, the only thing I would do differently in make all of the cords 4 feet longer.
  • Though part of that is because of something that surprised me: the speaker's volume and the computer's volume can be adjusted separately, allowing you to really fine tune how loud or quiet you want things.
  • My wife is happy also (always a good thing!), as they fit perfectly.
  • These don't cost a fortune so I certainly wasn't expecting the greatest thing ever.
  • The only thing I would have liked is a second input and headphone output on the speakers themselves

Reviews around volume (3.49 of 5)

  • they have decent volume and they do not sound like cheap speakers
  • sound quality is great, but the loudest volume doesn't do it for me
  • Decent quality, decent volume, not much distortion when you turn it to the max
  • I only use them for my work desk and the volume is kept low so it's not as if i blew them out
  • it was super mellow, I'd say less than 40% volume on the dial when my eardrums got obliterated by pure sound chaos

Reviews around radiator (2.23 of 5)

  • Cute and compact design but not worth the trouble as they don't work.
  • Music sounds a little, I don't know if I would describe it as muffled, but it doesn't feel as "sharp" as it could be
  • They are also a little more tinny than the cheap-o speakers they replaced
  • You can see the passive radiators on the back thumping as well
  • Music sounds a little, I don't know if I would describe it as muffled, but it doesn't feel as "sharp" as it could be

Reviews around noise (1.73 of 5)

  • The last USB speaker I used had a lot of electric static noise
  • When I connected them to the usb of my laptop, they were making a slight annoying noise
  • They STILL make this annoying noise when on but not playing anything
  • I REALLY wish these didn't make a quiet high-pitched noise when on but not playing anything
  • Just from powering it up there is a loud screeching noise.
