After perfectly fine tuning the instrument, it still sounded bad (harsh)
I had no problems whatsoever doing the initial tuning with the pegs, and I downloaded a free violin tuner app on my phone, which makes fine tuning a breeze
Smaller violins don't always hold a tune so well, but his one is great
The hard case is also excellent; it comes with the straps so that you can carry it on your back.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the case was for the price of this instrument.
There is a decent quality bow, a nice case, and a decent instrument, all cheaper than renting for a year
Made well, great case and easy for my 9 year old to use
The case is very nice, but when opened, it reveals a magnificent violin and bow; outstanding workmanship, not only on the instrument, but the inside of the case, as well
After read a lot of review and shop around ..this violin has a lot of good review
Anyway, I've been wanting one for a long time, and finally bought this one based on the product specs and the positive reviews
I am no violin expert but based on reading other negative reviews and having musical knowledge as a professional flutist, a few observations: The bow has been fine
I decided to go ahead and try this violin out since it had good reviews
Although,it seems to be a little pricier than other brands,i found mostly positive reviews about this product
birthday gift, I did pop the fat G string and had to run out and get a new one.
My daughter switched from Cello to Violin and absolutely loves this
I don't know anything about music, but my daughter is taking violin in school and this worked out nicely.
Well, my daughter's music teacher installed the bridge with no problem and at no charge and my daughter states she loves this violin more than the Yamaha brand we had rented
My daughter and her teacher are very happy with the violin
what I like is the violin has a great sound, even for it's small size
It does seem to really have an ebony fingerboard and ebony pegs, which is a step up from the sub-$100 violins, but the sound that this violin makes is quite dull and flat.
She's seen some awful ones that fall apart or have poor sound
The sound is clear and crisp, and all parts have proven to be of good quality
With the Preludes, the violin has an very clear and almost bright sound
The Bow and case are also very nice and it also comes with a block of resin for the bow.
The case is very nice, but when opened, it reveals a magnificent violin and bow; outstanding workmanship, not only on the instrument, but the inside of the case, as well
The case is pretty good, the bow is quite usable, with good balance and an good feel

Hopefully, we just got a bad bow and the other Cremona sets do not have this issue
Cremona has always been a pioneer when it comes to making quality violins to meet the demands of the growing student violin population

Whether the student is in the earliest stages of the learning process, or well on the way to more advanced training, these violins featuring USA-made D'Addario Prelude strings, the educator's preferred string for students, will perform well beyond their price
Each instrument is setup to Cremona standards at their U.S
