For $200, I didn't expect this cello to be of great quality, but I did expect it to be in one piece

It is absolutely normal for you to buy better quality strings AND get your bridge fitted to your cello

I strongly suggest that you buy a good quality bow and good rosin as you buy this product, because the ones provided are not of very good quality

Right out of the bag, the C string fine tuner is warped so I couldn't use it and the rosin was worthless, chipped on first attempt and eventually cracked in half

Even a seasoned player would have a hard time getting a nice sound from this cello.

After new strings and bow and rosin, the sound was pretty good for a beginner, but then at about 30 days, the tuning pegs refused to hold the tune
