It's a perfect cheap buy for a beginner , I recommend buying it and also a new rosin while you're at it.

Over all I think this violin is a great buy for a beginner or for someone who for whatever reason cannot get themselves a high quality instrument.

The thick laquer on it kills the sound and was very poorly done, so I began to sand it off and saw it is made from plywood, not solid spruce and maple the add states

Well made, beautiful case, the bow had a few strings broken but nothing that cannot be fix.

The bow isn't particularly nice, but works perfectly fine for a beginner, I did have a couple hairs loose or broken out of the box, but only two and it didn't unravel any more when I trimmed them off (after reading online on how to deal with them without further damage)The rosin is clearly bottom of the barrel, and came shattered in a hundred pieces but a quick trip to the local music shop

I also feel that the rosin is cheap; cheap for a cheap instrument

I rosined the bow with nice rosin I also bought on Amazon

This time the violin only came with one bow, a very cheap rosin with air bubbles

The string posts won't stay in so it won't stay tuned, the bridge broke in half as soon as I put the strings on it, and the bow falls apart after just minutes of playing it

The paint was still a little tacky when I recieved it, and it smelled fresh

The bridge continues to fall while attempting to tune the strings, which also come off as the pegs are not secure

The build is sturdy and the only problem I've had with it is keeping the pegs in place, but I've come to find it's an easy fix with peg compound

When I got the package the violin already had bad pegs and was missing the one of the tuning screws at the base

And I bought a fourth one at a pawn shop whose owner had replaced traditional pegs with winders (like on a guitar).

The strings were on the wrong pegs and the peg holes were shredded

Sadly the first one that arrived was missing the bridge and had a broken digital tuner

I also requested for them to send me a new bridge because I had accidentally broken off a piece on the one it came with

The school teacher said the bridge is not working because it is carved and the strings won't fit
