I am very disappointed with this purchase, his music teacher says this model is way too cheaply made and not a decent instrument
-
This is a nice beginner instrument and it comes with all the extras needed to get started playing.
-
These instruments are horrid.
-
Dont expect a Guarneri with this purchase but by the way it comes to a very good instrument so far if you can take care of it and you can play it good and give it maintenance
-
But it was terrible as a usable instrument
-
but once we took it to a local shop and they showed my son how to properly tune it we have had beautiful music and the instrument sparkles a bit
-
We also waited to long for a return so we have a decent looking violin case, and useless instrument
-
Something that both children and adults need when taking on such a challenging and beautiful instrument
-
There is no value for a student to practice on a squeaking instrument - at the minimum you will need to change all the strings - $28-$48, you will need to install a new bridge ~$40 and a new bow $60-100
-
It a very beautiful instrument but it never stays in tune
-
Very good instrument for my daughter to learn on.
-
Remember, this is a delicate instrument
-
These "instruments" cost a lot to get adjusted to work properly, and still aren't as good as an instrument that has been set up propery.
-
--it's been more of a pain than it would have been to spend a little more to get a better quality instrument
-
Nice quality and beautiful instrument.
-
Amazing violin, came with everything necessary and is an amazing instrument to play.
-
Do yourself a favor and got to an actual instrument dealer or an instrument website like Southwest Strings or Shar if you really want to learn to play an instrument.
-
Originally, I thought a relatively cheap instrument would be good for a beginner to learn on without investing too much before finding out if it was worth sticking with, but clearly you get what you pay for with
-
but if you're serious about playing I'd suggest paying more for a better quality instrument
-
But what can you expect of such a cheap instrument.
-
The electric tuner that came with it is extremely useful and can be used to tune other instruments as well
-
The key to a decent student instrument is quality SET UP
-
She is teaching herself how to play and this is the perfect starter instrument!
-
This instrument is excellent to learn how to play it, it came complete just like the description, i'm very satisfied with this purchase
-
If you have $50 you're planning on gambling away anyways, go ahead and give it a try... if not, invest in a better quality instrument.
-
I loved the instrument
-
It seems like a solid instrument
-
Beautiful instrument looks very professional.... my daughter totally love it
-
I fully realize that what I am getting is likely not on par with a more expensive professional instrument, but it can still keep me in good graces as far as practice is concerned
-
The instrument falls out of tune very quickly, and the tuning pegs are extremely loose, which makes getting the instrument in tune to begin with extremely difficult
-
An excellent starting instrument and a surprisingly high quality case
-
It's a great instrument for learning
-
Southwest Strings and Shar have good student model instruments starting in the low $100s.
-
Parents of beginning orchestra students, as a middle school orchestra teacher, I implore you: please, please, PLEASE do not buy this violin (or any very cheap instrument)!!
-
My daughter had been asking for a violin, and for the price, this instrument is really nice.
-
Originally, I thought a relatively cheap instrument would be good for a beginner to learn on without investing too much before finding out if it was worth sticking with, but clearly you get what you pay for with
-
I also feel that the rosin is cheap; cheap for a cheap instrument
-
This is not an instrument one should expect to play in a symphony hall - but it is capable of producing a decent enough sound for a beginner (note: the instrument is capable, that does not mean that the beginner is capable)
-
Great starter instrument at a great price
-
But if you're considering this then you or someone you'd be buying it for is obviously a beginner, and an "instrument" like this is not only terribly offensive to all sensibility, but would be very discouraging for a new student
-
This violin has been perfect for my needs, and will be a nice piece of decoration if/when I decide to upgrade to a better instrument
-
Still love it and think it's a great beggining instrument
-
We also waited to long for a return so we have a decent looking violin case, and useless instrument
-
Many music stores have repair shops that can not only make repairs, but can vastly improve these instruments
-
, i have a two violins now this one which i would rate a 6 out of ten and a Stradivarius cerelebelium which i would rate an 8 either wat i would recommend it to someone who is starting violin is a difficult instrument and may quit within the first month, if you are still serious after a year, year and a half then maybe buy a couple hundered dollar guitar.
-
Apparently the violin teacher said the instrument sounds wrong
-
I am sure the seller will read this and hopefully they will be polite and help everyone out that has purchased these really beautiful instruments
-
this is a good starter instrument that will not break your wallet if not played that much..
-
But it was terrible as a usable instrument
-
I see these unfortunate instruments brought in all the time to my classes.
-
Great starter instrument
-
Great instrument
-
GREAT STARTER INSTRUMENT
-
My favorite musical instrument
-
Good instrument to learn on.
-
If you really want to learn to play save up for a better quality instrument or rent a good one from your local music store
-
The case was not what I expected and the violin looked and felt like a toy instead of an adequate learning instrument.
-
Violins are very beautiful instruments and need great attention to detail
-
All in all i would recommend this instrument for anyone looking to get into the violin
-
Plays well and is an enjoyable instrument for our sons and granddaughters.
-
Save your money and buy a decent instrument from a reputable bowed string instrument dealer
-
the fact is, if treated with respect and care, the instrument should be relatively durable
-
Small issues but overall great starter instrument.
-
Otherwise, a pretty darn good instrument
-
I think it is a great starter instrument for anyone.
-
Other than that, the instrument was fine
-
Contact your local orchestra teacher and they will be able to direct you to affordable and quality instruments
-
The issue here is being patient and remembering you are getting a really inexpensive instrument that may or may not need additional effort to make it play reasonably well
-
The strings are broken, the screws are missing, this thing called a piece unfinished toy, not an instrument
-
it was a gift for my brother in law...but really it was for my nephew who is 4, but loves musical instruments
-
I love my Violin, I've always wanted to learn how to play this is a good instrument for starters, you can play with it all you want without having to worry about messing up an expensive one.
-
These instruments are not worth anything.
-
Do not buy cheap instruments
-
Great beginners instrument.
-
I love the instrument and I feel that ALL I have to do is replace all of the strings and the violin won't be 'cheap.
-
Small issues but overall great starter instrument.
-
more than this one it came with tons of extras, it is a wonderful instrument that I absolutely fell in love with
-
This instrument is cool.
-
Great instrument!
-
Over all, it is a good instrument for the price.
-
For my beginner this is a great instrument
-
Nice instrument with the accessories and the price point is modest.
-
Paint job is horrible on the one I
-
I was so excited when it arrived 2 thumbs up thank u so much.
