Crescent 4/4 Full Size Student Violin Starter Kit (Includes CrescentTM Digital E-Tuner)

    • I bought one of these to start violin lessons and the pegs were a nightmare
    • https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000F3JO7M/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_18 Just use a drop of this stuff and slipping/squeaking pegs are history
    • And I bought a fourth one at a pawn shop whose owner had replaced traditional pegs with winders (like on a guitar).
    • When I got the package the violin already had bad pegs and was missing the one of the tuning screws at the base
    • The pegs are all very loose and won't tighten
    • The bridge continues to fall while attempting to tune the strings, which also come off as the pegs are not secure
    • The pegs were to lose, the strings would loosen with any amount of pressure
    • You will have to keep twisting hte pegs so hard eventually you will either crack the peg box or make the peg holes too large
    • Arrived on time and exceeded my expectations the only thing was one of the tuning pegs was a little loose with a little finesse it stayed in place all in all a great starter
    • The violin doesn't look as it does in the picture, the pegs are broken and don't hold, the rosin is awful, and mine came late.
    • The build is sturdy and the only problem I've had with it is keeping the pegs in place, but I've come to find it's an easy fix with peg compound
    • Oh, and the pegs were a pain
    • The strings were on the wrong pegs and the peg holes were shredded
    • The second G string broke
    • The strings are poor quality; G and D strings are decent but A and E strings will have to be replaced and they are very easy to snap.
