Amazing violin,came with everything necessary and is an amazing instrument to play.

Do yourself a favor and got to an actual instrument dealer or an instrument website like Southwest Strings or Shar if you really want to learn to play an instrument.

There is no value for a student to practice on a squeaking instrument - at the minimum you will need to change all the strings - $28-$48, you will need to install a new bridge ~$40 and a new bow $60-100

Southwest Strings and Shar have good student model instruments starting in the low $100s.

The strings are broken, the screws are missing, this thing called a piece unfinished toy, not an instrument

The instrument falls out of tune very quickly, and the tuning pegs are extremely loose, which makes getting the instrument in tune to begin with extremely difficult

Still love it and think it's a great beggining instrument

But it was terrible as a usable instrument

This violin has been perfect for my needs, and will be a nice piece of decoration if/when I decide to upgrade to a better instrument

This instrument is excellent to learn how to play it, it came complete just like the description, i'm very satisfied with this purchase

I love my Violin, I've always wanted to learn how to play this is a good instrument for starters, you can play with it all you want without having to worry about messing up an expensive one.

Over all, it is a good instrument for the price.

I am very disappointed with this purchase, his music teacher says this model is way too cheaply made and not a decent instrument

This is not an instrument one should expect to play in a symphony hall - but it is capable of producing a decent enough sound for a beginner (note: the instrument is capable, that does not mean that the beginner is capable)

The case was not what I expected and the violin looked and felt like a toy instead of an adequate learning instrument.

All in all i would recommend this instrument for anyone looking to get into the violin

But if you're considering this then you or someone you'd be buying it for is obviously a beginner, and an "instrument" like this is not only terribly offensive to all sensibility, but would be very discouraging for a new student

Dont expect a Guarneri with this purchase but by the way it comes to a very good instrument so far if you can take care of it and you can play it good and give it maintenance

but once we took it to a local shop and they showed my son how to properly tune it we have had beautiful music and the instrument sparkles a bit

These instruments are not worth anything.

The electric tuner that came with it is extremely useful and can be used to tune other instruments as well

Many music stores have repair shops that can not only make repairs, but can vastly improve these instruments

These "instruments" cost a lot to get adjusted to work properly, and still aren't as good as an instrument that has been set up propery.

This is a nice beginner instrument and it comes with all the extras needed to get started playing.

I love the instrument and I feel that ALL I have to do is replace all of the strings and the violin won't be 'cheap.

The key to a decent student instrument is quality SET UP

, i have a two violins now this one which i would rate a 6 out of ten and a Stradivarius cerelebelium which i would rate an 8 either wat i would recommend it to someone who is starting violin is a difficult instrument and may quit within the first month, if you are still serious after a year, year and a half then maybe buy a couple hundered dollar guitar.
