Never in my life have I experienced stainless steel cookware that rusts, but this does.

I did think it was all stainless steel when I ordered it.

Must have something to do with the material used in the stainless steel

I buy stainless steel partially so that I will not be exposed to aluminum.

Just a really fine and attractive saucepan for small tasks.

My last saucepan finally went kaput because the handle kept loosening from the pan, but this one is much better crafted so I likely won't have that problem here

I have had good cooking experiences with Cuisinart's Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized cookware, so I wanted to try the Cuisinart's stainless steel cookware.

I can get it sooner than saving those stickers at Albertson to purchase the Cuisanart stainless cookware.

I've had a Cuisinart 14 piece stainless cookware set for a few years.

This size is perfect for a little soup or making small batches of sauce.

If you don't have a pan this size, this one is a great one to buy and very reasonably priced here.

Cuisinart is an excellent product and the best value out there.

I have lots of Cuisinart pans and they have a nice weight to them.

It has a nice weight, looks nice and matches the other pots I have from this line.

Meanwhile, if you make thick sauces with cream or sweeteners or butter, the gentle even heating and tightly fitted lid will make you smile

Disappointed as lid is not glass (as shown on the picture!) but full metal

UPDATE 11/21/15:After having used this saucepan for many months now, the lid getting hot has become a real deal breaker for me

Cooks evenly & the fact that the handle does not get warm is a great feature.

This is a great pan, but if you are using it on a gas stove and only a small amout of liquid in pan, make sure the pan is centered over the grates, otherwise the handle will tip the pan over.

I liked almost everything untill I can see few spots and the handle becomes hot while cooking... though I ignored the fact that the lid handle doesn't stay cold...so deducted 2stars ..

It looks good, too, and the handle does not get hot during use.

While the pan looks good and feels substantial, it is not the same quality as the very same pan I had purchased years ago.

For the price, very good quality product, right size for one, maybe two cans of soup or whatever.

Amazon is driving away their customers with bad quality, if you have stock in Amazon, dump it before it is worthless.

I could not believe - bought this Cuisinart Stainless Steel 1 qt saucepan two month ago, took real good care about it - wash in hot water after each use (even used mostly to boil water for cooking) and towel dry

I have already had the pot tip over twice with scolding hot water burning me and spilling out all over the floor

And now I have a small pan dedicated to quick fry tempura, and one dedicated to boiling water for tea and others rotating through sauces, green pea sautés and mushroom risottos

and I almost got burned as the hot water spilled out

When boiling the eggs, the hard water left a pretty solid white residue from the minerals and such in the water

Because this is a sauce pan, not a deep fryer, fish skillet, stock pot or Dutch oven, I use it to make sauces and it is excellent in that role
