Just a really fine and attractive saucepan for small tasks.
My last saucepan finally went kaput because the handle kept loosening from the pan, but this one is much better crafted so I likely won't have that problem here
Love this saucepan Just the right size and heats evenly
It's a wonderful saucepan just right for soup and sauces
pretty good value, needed a small stainless saucepan and this did the trick with no issues
My other Cuisinart cookware doesn't have this problem
I have had good cooking experiences with Cuisinart's Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized cookware, so I wanted to try the Cuisinart's stainless steel cookware.
I can get it sooner than saving those stickers at Albertson to purchase the Cuisanart stainless cookware.
trust me, there is nothing but stainless steel on the outside of these pans).Remember to use medium heat with all stainless steel cookware
I've had a Cuisinart 14 piece stainless cookware set for a few years.
I really like this little pot and am thinking of graduating to a bigger size.
I love this little pot, it's exactly what I was looking for
I babysat a 2 year-old who had a fake kitchen and her fake pot was the same size as this one
Great little pot, the size is good for small portion cooking
Only con is that it is twice as expensive as an IKEA pot of similar size, even though they seem to be about the same (this one is a little heavier and more solid).
Great finish, stylish classic look, and solid performance.
I love the look of this little saucepan, but it came with marks inside the bottom--so it doesn't look new
Comfortable handle, easy to clean and expensive looking.
I bought it because it is the best looking of pots this size, but like all Cusinart cookware I own, I am unhappy with how it cooks: the pot burns easily.
Comfortable handle, easy to clean and expensive looking.
Cooks evenly & the fact that the handle does not get warm is a great feature.
This is a great pan, but if you are using it on a gas stove and only a small amout of liquid in pan, make sure the pan is centered over the grates, otherwise the handle will tip the pan over.
I liked almost everything untill I can see few spots and the handle becomes hot while cooking... though I ignored the fact that the lid handle doesn't stay cold...so deducted 2stars ..
It looks good, too, and the handle does not get hot during use.
What surprised me was how cool the handle stays after cooking with it for so long
I could not believe - bought this Cuisinart Stainless Steel 1 qt saucepan two month ago, took real good care about it - wash in hot water after each use (even used mostly to boil water for cooking) and towel dry
I have already had the pot tip over twice with scolding hot water burning me and spilling out all over the floor
And now I have a small pan dedicated to quick fry tempura, and one dedicated to boiling water for tea and others rotating through sauces, green pea sautés and mushroom risottos
and I almost got burned as the hot water spilled out
When boiling the eggs, the hard water left a pretty solid white residue from the minerals and such in the water
