Good price, functions well, and its great that it is 4-slice
It seems as though good toasters are hard to find, at least at a reasonable price!
The only reason I generously gave it two stars is because it is attractive and reasonably priced but I would not recommend it if you want to actually toast anything beyond a slight toast
elements- Affordable mid range price - practically 2-3 times cheaper than the expensive non-professional toasters, like Breville, etc
I went to Macy’s and to William-Sonoma, and the prices for the same model were outrageous!
Had a cheap S..B..m that finally gave up the ghost and needed a replacement
I would have given 5 stars but if you put in one slice, that slice gets darker on one side than the other.
This is a nice four slice toaster which is easy to use.
Toasted a slice of bread very unevenly, like the slice came out looking like a before and after.
The Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4-Slice Toaster, Brushed Stainless is the best toaster that I found after significant research on Amazon and other website, and in stores like BestBuy and Bed, Bath & Beyond.- First, and most importantly, it toasts properly - evenly and without drying out the bread.
After all the great reviews, I was genuinely surprised by the lousy job this thing does on bagels, and not that great a job on toast
It’s attractive on the counter and does a nice job making toast.
I brought this toaster to replace a cheaper one that did a terrible job of toasting evenly
MY Grandma's 1922 toaster did a better job than this thing does.
The bagel setting works as it should and it does a really nice job of heating/toasting evenly and the adjustment knob doesn't seem to have any odd "jumps" in consistency; medium is medium, light is light, etc
I bought this toaster because I wanted one in stainless steel.
I’n throwing the stainless steel away and going back to my old one white one.
Like the stainless steel exterior and cooks toast evenly.
Only complaints: The stainless steel is kind of hard to keep looking clean, but that's the downside to the stainless steel look
Out of fear, I tried pulling the toaster away from the cabinet and slightly burned my finger tips because the outer sides of this stainless steel toaster was hot too.
Unlike every other toaster in the universe that shuts off half the elements when you hit bagel, this idiotic design instead leaves all the elements on and instead... lengthens the amount of time!???!?What on earth, that's exactly the WRONG thing to do
Beautiful design, nice wide slots to handle bagels as well as toast or muffins.
Had a cheap S..B..m that finally gave up the ghost and needed a replacement
MORONIC design
Great design, easy to clean, good settings and even heat distribution
Aside from this, and from crumbs jamming the system, it is possible that something more severe is at play such as broken plastic hooks, melted wires, etc
One of my kids "brilliantly" put plastic in it and destroyed it
I was surprised for Cusinart for 60.00 how cheap the handles are to push down for toast... works good but surprised how cheap it was for the big money I spent
Frozen waffles are brown on one side and soggy on the other
Works as expected, very happy with my purchase.
It works as
Bought this for my parents, they already had one which lasted 20+ years... finally started to burn toast a
The only other thing you'd use it for is frozen waffles, and personally I think putting it on high heat is a lot more effective, since after the defrost you'll need to toast it again anyway
A little disappointed; Toasts one side darker than other; temperature control knobs are cheap, light plastic with no apparent arrow to guide you to desired darkness; It's fine for an inexpensive toaster
n’t think the bagel button really works either.
I would have given this beautiful toaster 5 stars but the control knobs are flimsy and cheap both in arthritic/feeling and in the rotation element.
Unfortunately, the pictures don't reveal the poor fit & finish and flimsy control knobs of this model.
