I have disabled beeps on other appliances, by going on the web and looking up the manuals.

It's a loud electronic beep that could also signal that something's wrong.

However the carafe was problematic for me: messy inconsistent pour, coffee not hot enough/long enough, you can't see what's left in the pot and the brew completion audible beeps that seem to annoy many others who reviewed it didn't even work for me

Other than the hot brew and an audible beep on the Cuisinart after it turns off from keeping the carafe heated, the features are the same.

So if you're up early in the morning and others are sleeping near by they won't be for long, because for everyone's convenience there will be 5 loud beeps to let everyone in the house know what they could find out by looking at stupid thing "hey coffees ready!!!!!!!"
