Gave it a funny taste and smell

I unplugged it and brought it outside, but it still managed to leave a nasty electrical fire smell in my house.

Came back downstairs a hour later to a horrific and toxic burnt plastic smell

The smell was so horrible that I opened my backdoor and threw the coffee maker as far away from the house as possible

Then, once coffee is brewed, if I don't wait for each and every drop to make its way into the carafe before removing it, coffee WILL drip onto the hot plate, causing that nasty burnt coffee smell and crackling sound

The smell is atrocious

There are occasions when the water comes out smelling like burnt

There was a burnt electrical smell after I brewed the coffee and the coffee tasted clearly of plastic
