Makes great coffee, although the noise from the grinder is horrific!

the other thing is if you program the pot and add the beans to the grinder at bed time they can get wet from condensation it has not caused a problem the grinder is just now making a really funny noise so I am going to have to replace the whole thing

It didn't stop working, but after years of daily use it started to show its age, and I started hearing funny noises when grinding

So, maybe the noise isn't an issue for some, anyway

Of course it makes noise when it grinds - what would you expect?

We believe that the temperature of the coffee caused warping, beginning with faint crackling and popping noises during brews

If noise is an issue, this model is a bit quieter

What I dislike about it is the noise of the coffee grinder.

Excellent coffee maker - hot enough, perfect cup of coffee - the noise is not a problem - if you grind coffee, its going to make a noise

I would highly recommend this grind-and-brew machine to anyone wanting a better cup o' joe.
