Hubby went to clean coffee pot yesterday afternoon and said coffee was still warm enough to drink!!!!

We loved the smell of the beans grinding in the morning, and the stainless steel pot that holds the heat when we breakfast on the patio

The grinder doesn’t fit enough beans to make a strong enough pot of coffee, which makes it pretty useless in my home

The bottom line is that this unit brews a hot, delicious, pot of coffee every time

Beyond that, this coffee mill and maker is perfectly and intuitively engineered so that it's easy to maintain and makes, truly, a perfect pot (or cup) of coffee

The coffee is so much better made with fresh ground beans, and the thermal pot keeps the coffee hot for hours, and warm for several more.

They says it's for making a smaller quantity, but I feel that it improves even a full 12-cup pot.

Filling the grinding chamber with beans and making a full pot generally makes a nice strong pot of coffee

You should know that-the grinder, for some reason, gets wet and has to be cleaned with a brush for every use-setting up a fresh pot is a ten step process including cleaning five components making it easy to forget a step (this morning I forgot the plastic lid over the filter and the result was horribly weak coffee and $2 in wasted beans)-the thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for about 15 minutes, even if you prime it with hot water; hope you have a microwaveable mugIf you like a complicated process when you're foggy in the morning or fried at night, AND lukewarm coffee after your first cup, this is the grinder for you!

The grinder cup gets all moist-y and needs to be cleaned between every brew, which means you have to clean the coffee pot, clean the grind basket, clean the adapter that goes on top of the grind basket, then clean the actual grinder pieces (two of them) and dry them off so grinds don't stick in your next pot

And, while it makes a decent tasting pot of coffee, it also takes a bit longer than my old Cuisinart to do it.

The blade grinder somehow - doesn't quite brew as strong or as good a pot of coffee as the burr grinder did

The thermal pot keeps my coffee hot for over 3 hours and warm for a good 8 hrs :-)

After a bit of tinkering, now I can brew a perfect pot of coffee

As suggested, I heated the water first as well as the thermal pot.

I've had this pot for 6 months and love it.

The only thing I don't like is the pot.

I love the features - fresh grind, thermal pot, auto start, but too many mornings lately we've cleaned up massive spills.

It is really nice not to have to worry about shutting it off or breaking the glass pot

This pot has been a favorite for many years

We cleaned it carefully every time but after a year it leaks every pot.

The pot is easy to set up the night before, and have it grind and brew a pot every morning

We returned this coffee pot because it cannot brew a whole pot of coffee strong enough for us using the grinder

The pot is kind of hard to pour from but it keeps the coffee hot for quite a while.

It was not made to set the timer the night before so you can have a hot pot of coffee waiting for you when you wake up

The pot and lid are easy, the basket assembly not too bad but the macerator unit is covered in coffee dust which is steamed during the perk

Let me also say this was the most expensive coffee pot we've purchased.

Nobody wants to disassemble a complicated machine, clean it and reassemble it after every pot!All Cuisinart has succeeded in doing with this unit is that they put the grinder deep inside the coffee machine so that it's much more difficult to deal with and they've forced the owner to do an additional 15-45 minutes of washing-the-dishes every day!Way to go guys

But it’s been a good pot this long.

The coffee is decent, but I could have got the same quality from a cheaper coffee pot.

The pot did a good job of all, except the grinder is super loud --- could easily set this pot to brew in the a.m. and it could double as an alarm clock because it is so loud when it grinds ----After 6 months of use, the pot died on us --- and though under warranty, Cuisinart's requires $10 for them to ship a new one, and I am responsible for shipping the old one back!

We love the thermos pot because we can keep the pot in the den rather than running to the kitchen each time we need a refill.

The second draw back is this coffee pot will make you turn your nose at other coffee as you will find your self saying "my coffee is better"This pot is awesome !!

My wife & I have owned one of these coffeemakers for about six years now, and it's always made a wonderful pot of coffee, day after day after day -

I love the program feature and waking up to a fresh pot of brewed coffee.

But I could live with it...it brewed coffee and I often used the automatic feature so that a hot fresh pot was waiting for me each morning

I have been unable to brew even one good pot of coffee

The thermal pot is nice and keeps the brew hot for a long time, but it is awful at pouring the end of the pot.

Better to have a separate grinder and a good coffee pot.

It makes a great pot of coffee and the grinder is not as noisy as most

A few minutes after making my coffee, I can clean the filter and parts and my pot of coffee stays hot without the bad coffee taste from sitting on a hotplate for 2 hours.

You must - after you fill the pot with cold water for brewing, fill the pot again with hot hot water and dump

The manual suggests "pre-heating" the carafe with hot water, which helps a little, but is an inconvenience and wastes a pot of water

Making a fresh pot is a 4 step process and an absolute pain

So for this house it's the Muscle Machine good old Coffee Pot with the exception it has the best Grinder also better than the 625

I had this model before and it was fine but the one I bought leaks - not sure what is up if defective or not but about 80% of time you pour a cup of coffee it leaks all over counter - grinds and makes good coffee - not sure if just the pot I got was defective or not and Amazon is a pain to return things to - I won't buy another one in the future

Reliable, dependable, makes a perfect cup or pot of coffee.

Besides the fact that you can't fit enough coffee beans in the grinder to make a decent 10 cup pot of coffee, there are grinds and water/coffee all over the counter when I tried to use it the last few times.

It brews a sour pot of coffee, the chaffee spills all over the place, the grinder sends full beans down the shoot which then clog it, and the machine is a nightmare to clean

The last three had a glass carafe which I thought was great, but the stainless steel pot is a major improvement

It already doesn't seem to be as hot a most coffee pots.

For the most part, we really love this coffee pot.

The easy solution is remove the lid to pour and put it back on to keep the coffee remaining in the pot hot

That may seem like a lot of work, but the result is that I get a consistent and DELICIOUS pot of coffee every time.

I love the pot but this is our second one.

The pot kept the coffee hot until well into the afternoon, and didn't give it the burned taste as in a glass carafe.

Every pot you make will taste good, but since the grinder is in the same area as the water, it gets damp and needs washing/drying every time you use it

So for me I use the 4 hour setting and it keeps the coffee nice and hot for 4 hours before the pot turns off .All in all it is an excellent coffee pot for the price and the results are excellent .

While this self-contained machine makes a fine 4-cup pot of coffee and keeps it hot in its thermal carafe, the cleaning of various wet and dripping parts on a regular basis dashed my hopes of finding a product in my price range that would replace my messy coffee grinder

I also use the Bonavita BV1800, which makes a slightly better pot of coffee (shower head drip at 205 degrees), but I seem to need more coffee beans with this machine.

I want another pot."Doing the math, a hundred dollar coffeemaker that lasts 5 years and then dies, brews about 1800 pots of coffee with an equipment cost of about 5 1/2 cents per pot (about a penny per cup)
