Cuisinart DGB-625BC Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Brushed Metal

    • Hubby went to clean coffee pot yesterday afternoon and said coffee was still warm enough to drink!!!!
    • We loved the smell of the beans grinding in the morning, and the stainless steel pot that holds the heat when we breakfast on the patio
    • The grinder doesn’t fit enough beans to make a strong enough pot of coffee, which makes it pretty useless in my home
    • The bottom line is that this unit brews a hot, delicious, pot of coffee every time
    • Beyond that, this coffee mill and maker is perfectly and intuitively engineered so that it's easy to maintain and makes, truly, a perfect pot (or cup) of coffee
    • Worst coffee pot I've ever owned
    • the thermal pot keeps his coffee warm and doesn't get that stale over processed taste.
    • #1, there is no way to make a good strong pot of coffee
    • The coffee grinder gives you a really fresh pot of coffee each time.
    • Great pot
    • I love this coffee pot.
    • Nice coffee pot, easy to use but is a pain to keep clean and most of all dry before brewing
    • Best coffe, pot I have owned, have had it for years, great quality, easy to maintain, love the thermal pot vs a warmer that over-cooks theCoffee
    • The coffee is so much better made with fresh ground beans, and the thermal pot keeps the coffee hot for hours, and warm for several more.
    • They says it's for making a smaller quantity, but I feel that it improves even a full 12-cup pot.
    • Great pot
    • Filling the grinding chamber with beans and making a full pot generally makes a nice strong pot of coffee
    • You should know that-the grinder, for some reason, gets wet and has to be cleaned with a brush for every use-setting up a fresh pot is a ten step process including cleaning five components making it easy to forget a step (this morning I forgot the plastic lid over the filter and the result was horribly weak coffee and $2 in wasted beans)-the thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for about 15 minutes, even if you prime it with hot water; hope you have a microwaveable mugIf you like a complicated process when you're foggy in the morning or fried at night, AND lukewarm coffee after your first cup, this is the grinder for you!
    • The grinder cup gets all moist-y and needs to be cleaned between every brew, which means you have to clean the coffee pot, clean the grind basket, clean the adapter that goes on top of the grind basket, then clean the actual grinder pieces (two of them) and dry them off so grinds don't stick in your next pot
    • And, while it makes a decent tasting pot of coffee, it also takes a bit longer than my old Cuisinart to do it.
    • Love the coffee pot
    • The blade grinder somehow - doesn't quite brew as strong or as good a pot of coffee as the burr grinder did
    • The thermal pot keeps my coffee hot for over 3 hours and warm for a good 8 hrs :-)
    • After a bit of tinkering, now I can brew a perfect pot of coffee
    • As suggested, I heated the water first as well as the thermal pot.
    • I've had this pot for 6 months and love it.
    • The only thing I don't like is the pot.
    • I love the features - fresh grind, thermal pot, auto start, but too many mornings lately we've cleaned up massive spills.
    • It is really nice not to have to worry about shutting it off or breaking the glass pot
    • excellent grinder. makes a perfect pot of coffee overytime
    • It was a great coffee pot and this one stepped right in and did the same wonderful job.
    • I really like the thermal pot though
    • Nice coffee pot.
    • Would highly recommend this pot!
    • This pot has been a favorite for many years
    • We cleaned it carefully every time but after a year it leaks every pot.
    • The pot is easy to set up the night before, and have it grind and brew a pot every morning
    • We returned this coffee pot because it cannot brew a whole pot of coffee strong enough for us using the grinder
    • The pot is kind of hard to pour from but it keeps the coffee hot for quite a while.
    • It was not made to set the timer the night before so you can have a hot pot of coffee waiting for you when you wake up
    • I love this coffee pot, it makes great coffee.
    • The pot and lid are easy, the basket assembly not too bad but the macerator unit is covered in coffee dust which is steamed during the perk
    • The thermal pot keeps coffee hot for a long time.
    • I really like this pot much better than the other Cuisinarts that I have had.
    • Pros:I love the thermal carafe and it makes a good pot of coffee
    • the leakproof pot leaks
    • Let me also say this was the most expensive coffee pot we've purchased.
    • Nobody wants to disassemble a complicated machine, clean it and reassemble it after every pot!All Cuisinart has succeeded in doing with this unit is that they put the grinder deep inside the coffee machine so that it's much more difficult to deal with and they've forced the owner to do an additional 15-45 minutes of washing-the-dishes every day!Way to go guys
    • But it’s been a good pot this long.
    • The coffee is decent, but I could have got the same quality from a cheaper coffee pot.
    • The pot did a good job of all, except the grinder is super loud --- could easily set this pot to brew in the a.m. and it could double as an alarm clock because it is so loud when it grinds ----After 6 months of use, the pot died on us --- and though under warranty, Cuisinart's requires $10 for them to ship a new one, and I am responsible for shipping the old one back!
    • Great pot for coffee lovers
    • This is the third Brew and Grind Coffee Pot that I have owned
    • Nice coffee pot
    • and I like the built-in grinder and the thermal pot is a bonus
    • We love the thermos pot because we can keep the pot in the den rather than running to the kitchen each time we need a refill.
    • The second draw back is this coffee pot will make you turn your nose at other coffee as you will find your self saying "my coffee is better"This pot is awesome !!
    • Best coffee pot ever
    • You can temper the pot with hot water before you brew.
    • Great Coffee pot, no knobs!
    • My wife & I have owned one of these coffeemakers for about six years now, and it's always made a wonderful pot of coffee, day after day after day -
    • I love the program feature and waking up to a fresh pot of brewed coffee.
    • But I could live with it...it brewed coffee and I often used the automatic feature so that a hot fresh pot was waiting for me each morning
    • I have been unable to brew even one good pot of coffee
    • The thermal pot is nice and keeps the brew hot for a long time, but it is awful at pouring the end of the pot.
    • Better to have a separate grinder and a good coffee pot.
    • Love this coffee pot
    • Super nice coffee pot, I don't know about this best cup I ever had nonsense, but it sure does taste good!
    • Best coffee pot ever
    • The best coffee pot I had one before this the same model lasted 7 years.
    • Next time I'll buy the best Cuisinart coffee pot without the grinder.
    • The pot stay hot for hours
    • It makes a great pot of coffee and the grinder is not as noisy as most
    • A few minutes after making my coffee, I can clean the filter and parts and my pot of coffee stays hot without the bad coffee taste from sitting on a hotplate for 2 hours.
    • I personally like to always have a pot brewing or ready to be brewed
    • I have found that using the filter basket rather than disposable filters provides a good pot of coffee with no objectionable quantity of grounds
    • but I had the better pot where u can put a lb. of beans in and didn't have to refill each time you made coffee.
    • I like the fact I can take the thermal pot downstairs to my
    • It grinds the beans and brews immediately for the freshest pot of joe.
    • One great feature is the stainless steal pot, it keeps the coffee nicely warm for a LONG time..
    • This coffee maker is easy to use, makes a fast pot of coffee and the coffee is delicious!
    • We purchased an additional carafe so that when we entertain we can brew a pot and leave it on the counter/buffet for use while another pot brews
    • Also I had to pay to return the old "defective" pot and lid
    • Although it makes a good cup of coffee most of the time, sometimes the coffee stays in the grinder so the water never gets to it which results in a weak pot and wasted coffee.
    • Works well and makes a great pot of coffee
    • I would have loved to keep this machine, but I have kids, and homeschool, and work from home, and the ten minute commitment to ensure this machine produces a good pot is more than I can afford.
    • This is my 4th one of these and although I like the coffee it makes, the last 2 pots have a flaw in the design and cuisinart did replace the last one less $50 fee for shipping
    • This line of Cuisinart coffee makers brews an excellent pot of coffee and looks stylish in the kitchen while doing so.
    • The pot and components are easy to clean in the dishwasher
    • If you fill up the grinder completely and fill the pot to the max 12 cups, you end up with a weak pot of coffee
    • I like grinding beans to give a fresh pot of coffee.
    • (The carafe actually keeps a whole pot warm for up to 7 hours, which I was blown away by)
    • I was pleasantly surprised by the hotplate-less design and how effective the carafe is at containing heat.-Overall quality feel - doors and hinges, buttons, etc.-Water pours very evenly over grounds, which makes a great pot of coffeeCons-Slowish pour - carafe cover is designed not to let heat out, so the coffee pour is indirect and a little slow.
    • Love this coffee pot
    • You must - after you fill the pot with cold water for brewing, fill the pot again with hot hot water and dump
    • The manual suggests "pre-heating" the carafe with hot water, which helps a little, but is an inconvenience and wastes a pot of water
    • Making a fresh pot is a 4 step process and an absolute pain
    • So for this house it's the Muscle Machine good old Coffee Pot with the exception it has the best Grinder also better than the 625
    • It makes a great pot of coffee.2
    • I am told that it is a very nice coffee pot.
    • THis warms the thermal pot up and keeps the coffee hot longer
    • It is the most attractive pot I've found, the stainless doesn't hold finger prints, it MAKES GREAT COFFEE, and it is soooo easy to clean.
    • I would highly recommend this coffee pot
    • And, the thermal pot keeps my coffee hot for about 45 minutes to 1 hour
    • It is a very safe coffee pot as it shuts off after the coffee completes it's drip process, (the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time and there isn't a hot plate on the unit to "burn the coffee"
    • We love this coffee pot and they obviously last
    • Love this coffee pot
    • Of course results are best using quality coffees and making sure that the pot is clean and you have a good water source
    • This is a great Coffee pot if you like "fresh ground coffee".
    • The filter basket has a difficult lid that will ruin a pot of coffee is improperly placed.
    • Then I set the pot on the breakfast table and we enjoy several cups each morning.
    • Makes a bold pot every time - cleaning easy
    • We simply add the whole beans the night before and it grinds them and makes a fresh pot right before we get up
    • OK, we drink a lot of coffee, strong coffee, 1 1/2 to 2 pots a day
    • I don't think you can get a better grind & brew coffee pot for this price!
    • I love this coffee pot.
    • Makes a great pot of coffee for about 2-3 weeks then nothing but problems
    • Coffee didnt taste good, and the pot doesnt stay hot.
    • Love my coffee pot
    • Except the water line in the water tank was removed and no water lines on the stainless steel pot.
    • It works well for all intents and purposes, but it is wicked loud in the morning, and the grind is irregular, making for a mediocre pot of coffee
    • I had this model before and it was fine but the one I bought leaks - not sure what is up if defective or not but about 80% of time you pour a cup of coffee it leaks all over counter - grinds and makes good coffee - not sure if just the pot I got was defective or not and Amazon is a pain to return things to - I won't buy another one in the future
    • than I would if I simply had a cheap coffee pot with a stand-alone bean grinder
    • Reliable, dependable, makes a perfect cup or pot of coffee.
    • Besides the fact that you can't fit enough coffee beans in the grinder to make a decent 10 cup pot of coffee, there are grinds and water/coffee all over the counter when I tried to use it the last few times.
    • It brews a sour pot of coffee, the chaffee spills all over the place, the grinder sends full beans down the shoot which then clog it, and the machine is a nightmare to clean
    • The last three had a glass carafe which I thought was great, but the stainless steel pot is a major improvement
    • Love this coffee pot
    • it brews a very good pot of coffee.
    • When it works it is decent but don't expect it to last for more than a year without making a mess and at over a hundred bucks for a coffee pot well, I expected more and don't even get me started on the Cuisinart
    • Or the fact that every pot of coffee is pretty "dirty," even when we use the grinder
    • Put hot water in pot to warm pot before brewing
    • Our machine works no less than one pot for each day.
    • It already doesn't seem to be as hot a most coffee pots.
    • For the most part, we really love this coffee pot.
    • The easy solution is remove the lid to pour and put it back on to keep the coffee remaining in the pot hot
    • I only wish the thermal pot would keep the coffee hotter for a longer period of time.
    • but worth it when it makes an outstanding pot of coffee.
    • but definitely a pain and process ....you have to clean the bean holder every time you make a fresh pot.
    • That may seem like a lot of work, but the result is that I get a consistent and DELICIOUS pot of coffee every time.
    • I love the pot but this is our second one.
    • The pot kept the coffee hot until well into the afternoon, and didn't give it the burned taste as in a glass carafe.
    • Excellent coffee pot
    • Every pot you make will taste good, but since the grinder is in the same area as the water, it gets damp and needs washing/drying every time you use it
    • So for me I use the 4 hour setting and it keeps the coffee nice and hot for 4 hours before the pot turns off .All in all it is an excellent coffee pot for the price and the results are excellent .
    • We love our new coffee pot
    • While this self-contained machine makes a fine 4-cup pot of coffee and keeps it hot in its thermal carafe, the cleaning of various wet and dripping parts on a regular basis dashed my hopes of finding a product in my price range that would replace my messy coffee grinder
    • I also use the Bonavita BV1800, which makes a slightly better pot of coffee (shower head drip at 205 degrees), but I seem to need more coffee beans with this machine.
    • I want another pot."Doing the math, a hundred dollar coffeemaker that lasts 5 years and then dies, brews about 1800 pots of coffee with an equipment cost of about 5 1/2 cents per pot (about a penny per cup)
    • It takes a bit more time to clean than I wish, but it makes a consistently fine pot of
    • I absolutely love this coffee pot
    • I really wanted to love this coffee pot... but the reality ended up being less than impressive.
    • Love this coffee pot
    • First pot of hot, steaming coffee this morning was easy and wonderful
    • Only flaw is no heating element to keep the pot warm
    • Really a good pot.
    • I would definitely recommend this Grind and Brew coffee pot.
    • Love the stainless steel pot, keeps coffee hot for hours
    • My wife and I love this coffee pot!
    • I'm spending a lot on Keurig until I find another good thermal pot.
    • Nice coffee pot
    • I would highly recommend this grind-and-brew machine to anyone wanting a better cup o' joe.
    • n’t stay warm for long.
    • n’t go through to the bottom half and can clean the debris before making coffee
