Cuisinart DGB-625BC Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Brushed Metal

    • My problem has been the same issue
    • The first the the carafe was a problem and it leaked all over the
    • Sent the unit back got another unit same problem with the second unit after eight months stop sucking up the water
    • The post under the lid that causes the problem is hollow and Cuisinart could insert a short rod that lengthens the post, that way it would stay on even when the lid bends under the heat
    • Problem is we're spoiled by the Bunn K cup machine that makes fast fresh coffee whenever we want it, one cup at a time.
    • We do not find cleaning the coffee maker any problem as some have mentioned.
    • It was five years old at that time worked no problem
    • It was less noisy, but had an annoying problem.
    • Excellent coffee maker - hot enough, perfect cup of coffee - the noise is not a problem - if you grind coffee, its going to make a noise
    • Have never had a problem & if needed would like to replace with similar product
    • Lasted about 10 months before I began having problems removing the grounds basket because the heat warped it.
    • Every one-star review is describing a major leakage as a common problem, so my understanding is that Cuisinart recalled from the market a large lot of units with the leakage defect, got them refurbished and threw them back in the market to flash sales
    • I wanted to know how to correct this problem - maybe purchase a new part or lid.
    • Therein lies the problem.
    • We tried several things to correct the problem but nothing seemed to help
    • I would highly recommend this grind-and-brew machine to anyone wanting a better cup o' joe.
