Love this machine!

Great machine.

This machine is well worth it.

It is a beautiful machine if you have to leave it out on your counter, but way too expensive for only getting less than one year of good function out of it.

If you grind to a drip or Turkish grind, the machine cannot handle the density of the grind and water goes everywhere, overflowing the hopper

This one is great and more stirty and stiff which is great and grind perfectly and the cleaning is less... great machine.

Spend the money for this its a great machine.

Designer beans coated in flavored syrup or oils will clog up the machine requiring it to be cleaned after each use

The Cuisinart DGB-700BC is the best machine for with ez fresh grind and brew.

All-in-all a great machine so far.

Once you clean your machine as instructed (and it can be cleaned very easily and very quickly), you will find that this grind and brewer is not only efficient but also makes great coffee.

Perhaps if I program the machine to grind coffee for 4 cups and place water just for three the problem might be solved

I started having problems with the coffee basket door popping open when the machine started to grind for brewing.

We're still going in circles over this, but it seems a shame that such an inexpensive part renders an expensive machine useless and their replacement engineering is so wrong.

We have descaled the machine, which was what we were told to do, but it doesn't matter, as the machine has done this from day 1 -- right out of the box.

This machine is easy to use compared to previous grind & brew models and it makes great coffee at medium and strong brew

I always "cleaned" the machine with vinegar every 3-6 months to get rid of any calcium deposits - a killer of machines in hard water areas.

This machine is easy to use, makes pretty decent coffee and has worked flawlessly for me.

Once the machine is done grinding, we turn the power off and the grind feature off as well

I think it would be a good machine for home use by someone who cared for and cleaned it properly, but not for a business office or anything like that.

A fabulous machine

We have put up with constantly having to clean the clogged chute -- which was not an issue with the DeLonghi coffee maker that we had for years -- but the machine is now unusable

But they do include a few paper filters and I used one of them to run a brew cycle just with water, not only to clean the machine of any dust or whatever, but just to see what it would do

The hot plate was glowing red and machine was smoking and smelling of burning plastic when I got over to it (20-30 sec).

even though the machine delivered well while it works, it's unacceptable that it would break down so fast, and I definitely won't be buying this again, and I don't know how I feel about cuiinsart as a coffee maker provider as a whole

I bought this machine on May 5th 2015, and it worked well for what it is, cleaning it out is a bit of a pain - and the baket should be bigger, a normal sized filter doesn't cleanly hold a full 12 cup grind on the strong setting.

I consider this a bad machine and a bad company.

We either have to restart the machine with the grinder off (somehow this tricks the machine into leaving the heating element on) or we reheat the coffee in the microwave.

This machine clogs up rapidly when using coffee beans I call cuisinart and this is what the gal told me you have to clean the coffee shute after ever use

WHICH IS DEFINITELY FRESHER THAN GROUND, THIS IS A GOOD MACHINE WITH GREAT FEATURES.

It's unfortunate - the machine is very expensive and it does make a good cup of coffee, but I have returned to my old Capresso, which is much easier to use.

It suggests lining up the arrows (which are hard to see) after replacing, but I don't how this helps much, as each time I hear the machine making noises after I close the hatch.

All the other reviewers that commented that if you do the recommended cleaning, including brushing out the chute, you will like this machine are correct.

Bean grinder very noisy but still love this machine.

I genuinely feel that the grinder grinds significantly more than it should based on the settings, wasting a lot of coffee.. but other than that, I love this machine.

I tend to use very strong coffees which have a high concentration of oils and they used to clog up the old machine.

This machine is amazing, my 2nd one from the same generation, previously I had the DGB-900BC died after 4 years for a daily coffee drinker couple times a day

It beeps to tell you when the coffee is ready, as well as when the warmer plate shuts off :

, it'll work just as well as if you bothered to dry it.

Also the grinder is not as easy to clean as you are made to believe, if using a very moist coffee bean the grinds would end up caked in the grinding shoot and a brush would not get them out

Works exactly as you would expect.

The top easily lifts off to add the beans as well as to clean it.

The strength selector is great as I like my coffee strong

And if it ever fails I will immediately but another one just like it.

I have it set to grind for 12 cups of strong coffee but can only add enough water for just under 9 cups to get coffee as strong as I like it.

Other grind-n-brews we tried would beep every 2 minutes for up to an hour if we did not take the pot off.3

After purchasing 2 other grind-n-brews (and returning them) we ordered this one and love it!1

I really liked the look and convenience of the grind n brew and had good luck with Cuisinart brand coffee makers in the past but not this one.
