As many reviews point out, the recipes can be a bit confusing in how they are written and the amount of base you end up with is to much for 1 full batch of Ice Cream without it spilling out of the container a bit when finishing up in the machine

The recipes I've tried in the Cuisinart book are great, especially the Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream, in which I use dark cocoa powder and natural coconut flakes

and I've tried 3 recipes since then to the T and the machine isn't properly freezing the Ice cream the consistency that goes in is what comes out

Also, be careful to not leave the compressor running too long, especially in alcohol-free recipes, as the cream can solidify enough after about 50 minutes of churning to the point of it stopping the motor from being able to move the paddle, and you don't want to accidently burn the motor out that way
