It works as expected but the problem with the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker is that after you make it and put it in the freezer, unlike store-bought ice cream, the ice cream becomes too frozen to take out from the container

I love to make a small amount of fresh ice cream, while I am cooking supper

and so this relatively small ice cream maker is more than adequate for two, particularly because we prefer the softer ice cream right after churning rather than ice cream that is then frozen solid after churning

Purchasing the extra freezer bowl from Amazon was very easy and it arrived in time to make more delicious ice cream over the weekend.

I've been fortunate enough to have found a second machine as well as the backup bowl and have been thrilled that they are still in great condition after several years and many gallons of ice cream.

I was excited to get a Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine in my hands, which it turned out didn't have the freezer bowl with it anymore.

The machine itself is great and the freezer bowl doesn't take up too much room in the freezer

When we returned home I ordered a replacement bowl and Amazon had a great price and delivery service.

All and all though, a reasonably priced, high quality system.

We use ours all the time and I was pretty happy to find these reasonably priced on Amazon

It's worth the time and money for the superior product with less overrun (air in the ice cream) and a smaller ice crystal (for a creamer product.)

The freezer bowl that came with our ice cream maker didn't have enough time to get cold for me to make the second batch.

It was a wrong item to fit my ice cream maker it was the same brand same size

Ignore reviews that say you can put upside down - Completely false.

My ice cream maker and original bowl is about 15 years old and the bowl freezes perfectly, so after reading other unfortunate reviews, this issue must be a change in the liquid they use in it.
