It works as expected but the problem with the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker is that after you make it and put it in the freezer, unlike store-bought ice cream, the ice cream becomes too frozen to take out from the container

Ignore reviews that say you can put upside down - Completely false.
My ice cream maker and original bowl is about 15 years old and the bowl freezes perfectly, so after reading other unfortunate reviews, this issue must be a change in the liquid they use in it.
