It gets the job done very quickly, and doesn't take much counter-space, and has a nice sized bowl and top

This is the only grinder she will use for hot peppers and dehydrated lemon rind, the flavors don't mix because of the stainless steel bowl

The blades in this grinder are better suited for grinding spices and the stainless bowl is removable and washable.

The bowl became loose but it would not disengage from the base of the unit

I took it out of the package, washed the large, removable and dishwasher-safe stainless chopping bowl, which did initially seem like a big step up from the Krups, and poured in about 4 T of black peppercorns to grind, barely enough to come 1/2" up the inside of the bowl

The detachable bowl is definitely a plus and makes it easier to handle your product removal.
