    Cuisinart SG-10 Electric Spice-and-Nut Grinder, Stainless/Black

    • the stainless steel cup is also a thicker grade so its not flimsy.the reason for a one star downgrade which could be two: cusinart has the superb funtionality but it only has one cup
    • The stainless steel cup broke off of the base and can't be removed.
    • The stainless steel cup for grinding looks like it can hold a lot, but really it is most effective with 1/4- 1/2 cup in it.
    • Edited to add (08/01/10):After more than a year of regular use (bye bye warranty), the cup has jammed into the base and will not come off
    • I like the inner stainless cup.
    • why would i want to fill a smaller cup more than twice to grind all the spice i need
    • HOWEVER, mine decided to get jammed together somehow and the cup won't come free of the base which mean that I cannot clean it correctly which is an issue.
    • This thing is really cool, it's small, has a stainless mixing cup and looks very stout
    • The clear cup which covers the grinding cup is much wider than the grinding cup
    • Cup is easily cleaned
    • The stainless cup held a good amount, it was quick and quiet, and cleaned easily.
    • Especially like removable stainless steel grinding cup.
    • It's also very hard to clean the cup
    • It is very difficult to "unlock" the cup from the base so that you can clean it.
    • The detachable inner Cup with its blades is great for storage or cleaning and I think are made of Stainless steel.
    • its much better to have a large cup even if you are grinding a smaller seed
    • It is made with appropriate materialRemovable cup permits easy cleaning
    • the cup has a lip on the top so its very user friendly and easy to remove and insert
    • It is made with appropriate materialRemovable cup permits easy cleaning
    • It looks good and the removable cup are useful, but the reliability is terrible.
    • I used the grinder once to grind some whole coriander seeds... although the grinding bowl looks large, the max fill line is very small... took me 15 minutes to grind a cup of coriander
    • The big cup is nice, and it's nice to be able to remove the cup to wash.
    • This means you'll get a HUGE mess of spices spilling everywhere each time you detach the clear cup
    • Cuisinart Nut & Spice Grinder, this spice grinder works great, removable stainless steel cup, powerful motor, plenty of space to grind up a good amount of whatever
    • This grinder makes a breeze of it, and the stainless steel grinding cup does not retain odor, so I can grind cumin for curry, and then cardamom for cookies without lingering off-tastes.
    • When the cup is twisted to remove from the motor, the housing that holds the blade is loose and doesn't "tighten" till the container is twisted into place for the next batch of grinding.
    • The machine still works, but since the grinding base is jammed and the cup itself is loose, spinning around when you hold the lid down, you can't grind anything
    • My rating isn’t 5-stars because I need a replacement already as the cup is jammed on its base
    • Use it only for grinding 1/2 cup of dog food and it works great, only takes a couple of seconds.
    • The removable cup makes it so nice to wash in the dishwasher, though the base does need to be brushed out
    • It died when I was trying to grind up a half cup of quinoa into meal
    • First of all the stainless steel cup did not come off from day one
    • It's a shame, because I found the removable cup to be useful and easier to clean.
