    Cuisinart SG-10 Electric Spice-and-Nut Grinder, Stainless/Black

    • I noticed that almost every negative review stated that the motor stopped worked the first time they used it
    • i would rather spend less time grinding
    • BUT -Fine grinds escape the bottom and the sides every time.
    • 3 weeks ago, my husband pulled it out again and we used it 3 more times, every time grinding cumin seeds for curry, instead of crushing them with our mortar and pestle
    • Retractable Power Cord got jammed the second time it was used.
    • This means you'll get a HUGE mess of spices spilling everywhere each time you detach the clear cup
    • defect!!Amazon.com on the other hand did a classy "one-time exception" and just sent me a return shipping label and a free replacement - as it should be.5 Stars Amazon
    • I also didn't want to keep dirtying my big food processor every time I needed ground or chopped nuts for baking.
    • Please do not waste your time trying this product
    • 3 years ago, I purchased my husband a cuisinart spice and nut grinder that broke down the first time we used it
    • I ground chia seeds in it about 3 times, and cardamom once.
    • Several times an evening she is grinding them up and mixing with aapple sauce.
    • I purchased this grinder to grind up my 17 year old chihuahua food as she is having a difficult time chewing her food
    • This time, the motor quit and smelled like burning plastic.
    • The only problem is the first time I used it it over heated and stopped working.
    • I bought this in Oct. 2013 from Williams Sonoma and purchased a Cuisinart Coffee grinder at the same time I used the Spice and Nut Grinder three times to grind flaxseeds
    • When the motor acts like it is having a hard time ...., back off and let it rest
    • I Emptied out the cup and tried again but this time it just made a burning smell and did not work ever again
    • Used it four times and loved it.
    • I followed the instructions to the letter, but grinding cinnamon sticks took a long time (45 seconds for two sticks), and worse yet my machine died during the third try.
    • Great the first 3 times you use it, and then it breaks
    • Second time it ground the seeds, though not
    • The first one - motor stopped working the first time I used it
    • The motor on this burned up the first time I used it and I used it according to the instructions.
    • It only worked nearly 10 times and won't turn on again
    • The first time I tried to grind macadamia nuts with it (filled container 1/3 full) it burnt out and doesn't work any more.
    • if it starts to get warm... give it some time to cool down... if you force to run the motor too long, you will break it...
    • It’s been only a month we got this product and have used only 3 times and its not working
    • It was very disappointing, but because it was within the return period Amazon replaced it for free and we got a new one, this time it worked well for 2 months and again stopped just like th previous one did, and I hv no chance to return or replace it with Amazon again
    • The last time I used it it worked fine
    • I would rather have buttons or knobs and know that the grinder works every time or Led lights that show when
    • Under the 1-year warranty this time, I got a replacement from Cuisinart, however, after only a few months the replacement failed--same problem
    • just adds to clean up time.
    • Perfect I dried orange peel and ground it up.
    • I'm hoping Cuisinart will replace it so will update if I hear from them, but really bummed as I liked the grinder for what I was doing
