I like mine lighter and not so done,

The ready light turns on and the waffle maker beeps when it is ready

This model does create lovely crisp waffles and even uses an audible chime w/ lights when ready

Cooks waffles crispy but takes a while for the ready light to come on and a bit of a wait for them to be ready

Love the "ready" light and chime letting you know the iron is at temperature and them again alerting you that the contents are cooked

It has both a ready light and a beep to let one know when the waffles are ready

I really like the light and beep it makes when it’s heated up and after putting in the batter it lights and beeps telling you the waffle is ready
