Battery life is better with the new one and the images seem better as well

Great mounting system, awesome image and incredibly simple to use.

Electronic stabilization worked fairly well and image was very stable unless you are riding over multiple potholes.5)

I love the idea and have seen videos from other cycliq units and I am amazed by the quality of the video

This is a great device that gives me an extra measure of peace of mind while riding out on the road

Net, Net, normally, when you find problems with a device, you give it fewer stars, but this device is so useful, that, even with the flaws, I think it's worthy of 5 stars.

Hopefully they will fix a few of the quirks, but otherwise, I think it's a great device

No app for the Garmin Edge 1000 that must be one of the most popular devices, only 810 and 1030

It took me SEVERAL rides and explorations through the tech manual and their email tech support to figure them both out

Customer support says that there is nothing wrong with the battery, it only needs a firmware fix

Will update review once/if a customer support provides a solution.

The unit was unreliable (even after suggested software upgrade) and had a miserable time trying to work out issues with Customer Support.

Better to go with a reputable company like Garmin, who offer no fault crash replacement on their products

If Cycliq matures a bit as a company and does some actual QA and customer service, it could be great

What I really like about using Cycliq’s products is how responsive the company is to customers concerns

The easy solution for the LED is a separate rear light of 400 lumens (e.g. DeNotte).

This is a good solution if you do not use a rack.

I will say that the twist-lock mounting concept is great, and works like a champ if you can install the mount on your seatpost.

I like the new quick connect mounts, which make it super easy to take on and off my bike

The seatpost mount is fine, if you do not have a seatpost bag.

Nice wide angle and video did capture both sides of the street while I was riding.4)

Works great, good video up to 1080p at 60 frames per second, great features.

I still think it was a good purchase and is one of the best cameras for cyclists that commute to work or bike every day.

After mounting the receiver to the bike, I placed the light/camera into its holder and twisted it to lock it into place

This camera lacks WiFi or any way to browse or preview your videos directly on your phone which would be a nice feature

I got back home and the camera stop working due to water entrance to the memory compartment.

So if your camera is idle for a few days you will find you do not have enough juice to record on your ride
