I used to use the Heavy Core strings for my drop C guitar, but I tried these since I always used D'addario for my accoustic ( I like brand that I trust, a fine product buys my loyalty) and I was not let down

I like a lighter gauge string for bending, but the E and A on the strings I was using were too thin sounding.
Can't really complain about the great value for the price of them here either.
String is great for metal and low tuning as well as for bluesy riffs
I didn't give 5 stars just because I know there are better strings out there, but these strings are a great value and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again
Low E-string broke before I even put any tension on it with the tuning key...first and last time I buy anything from D’Addario.

One high E string broke while putting it and two strings broke as soon as you do a bend
I'm not a fan of high string tension, so if you like 9s on a 25.5" scale tuned to E standard, you'll probably like these on guitars with the shorter 24.75" scale length for E standard.
The heavy string tension helps me avoid hitting the frets.
n’t feel great about the durability of the strings from this purchase.
