I like the cylinder design has a small foot print with no bright lights
5G is weaker
Some may prefer the many lights for each port, but I prefer the soft green non-distracting lights over the bright blue flickering lights on my old wireless router

My iPhone and IPad run on the 5 ghz network and when they lose the signal they automatically sign in under the 2.4 ghz network.
But I assume that you want a consistent signal and not one where devices of various brands out of the sudden are no longer connected and the only way of resolving it is to restart the wireless router.
