These strings have a better, purer tone than any strings I've ever used

If you are looking for an "extended play" string I have found the D'Addario composite EJ45C to be just fine, though I think I prefer the tone of the EJ45s.

It's a wonderfully balanced string set with great tone and perfect tension for my Taylor 814 N. From deep bass to clear, tight trebles, the EXP46 is an excellent choice

However, that tone degrades slowly over the life of the strings due to the coating

Frankly I am shocked at how good they are as I am used to strings only lasting 3 or so months and if they last longer, the tone being garbage after that 3 months

The extra high tension is nice for a more crisp and quick tone

The Ching is a real canon but has a slightly bright tone
