overall I like the strings.
-
Unfortunately, the A and D strings were muddled and unresponsive
-
The biggest drawback is that the C string is useless, it has such low tension that the string prefers to roll over instead of catching the bow.
-
If your instrument is already bright, then these strings may be overkill
-
These strings are great
-
If you are using some old cheap steel strings and are not happy with the way your cello sounds then these strings are good start to fixing the problem.
-
Unfortunately, I've had multiple packs of cello strings unravel, break, and arrive short/unraveled in the last couple years.
-
The strings have the warmth and resonance of gut, but have the tuning stability of steel and synthetic strings
-
These strings are much more responsive than my Larson strings.
-
This is my first time buying these strings.they are thicker than the steel strings and my son is having a hard time adjusting but this is normal.it's taken over a week of practice to warm the strings an_d for the cello to sound nice
-
Much prefer my cheaper strings over these.
