BUY THISThis changed our lives for the better, we are in a decent sized apartment in Chicago with little counter space in the kitchen and NO dishwasher
Although the size of the unit limits the size of plates and other dishes to be washed, I am very happy with the dishwasher
I used to have an awesome expensive full-size General Electric dishwasher before I moved to a smaller place
With 4 of us here, it's just the right size to keep up the dishes by running a load at night
It’s the right size for the counter, and when used with Cascade Complete or Platinum, dishes, pots, and glasses come out clean
The program indicator area is difficult to figure out and most loads work best with the default setting or the one that's a bit longer time.
At this point, I have given Danby by email everything they have asked for but I still do not have a working dishwasher or a refund.
Later loads with the hot water off were just as good - the internal heater works like a charm
This is roomy and works beautifully period completely easy to set up once I figure it out that you can attach it to the sink with a quick attach piece either on the outside or the inside of the threading
Important note: The dishwasher stopped working in July 2019
but it's a pointless machine if you have more than 1 adult and a toddler you're doing dishes for because of the size
What an awesome little machine! It hooked up to my sink easily
Mostly you can hear when the water is draining as it is coming out at high pressure
Not only did this little machine break down after less than 3 weeks, but Danby's customer service is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Ive only had this dishwasher for 2 months, and have discovered a major design flaw: if the spray arm is obstructed (like if something falls down into the basin by mistake, or the edge of a bowl dips below the tray slightly), the machine will continue to complete its cycle without stopping from the error
