The Dan electro Honey Tone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp cranks like a little hot rod has a great clean or overdriven sound. The Honey Tone amp also boasts a real leather handle, belt clip, headphone jack, Volume, Tone, and Overdrive controls. Th...
I only used for synth keyboard, not playing guitar so can't speak to that, but it can run on a 9V battery or typical stomp box A/C adapter, so handy there.
You can set it to jazz, blues, rock, metal, country, acoustic and etc.....great amp for a great price.
I recently had tried to find a reasonably priced, good sound iPhone amp to no avail.
Though, for the inexpensive price and ease of transport, it's fun to jam with if you're not looking for an entirely impressive sound to accompany high-end performances
I tried one out in a music store and decided I wanted one, but to get the cool Aqua color I had to order online
It comes in a variety of cool retro colors and is perfect for your DC-59,U2-56,as well as your Tele, Strat, or SG
I only used for synth keyboard, not playing guitar so can't speak to that, but it can run on a 9V battery or typical stomp box A/C adapter, so handy there.
But Anyway I love it, its small, a cute color and it fits anywhere.
Sounds amazing, bought this to go with my nieces ukulele that I also bought on Amazon, color is super cute
I got this as a cheap practice amp when I first headed off to graduate school in 2001.
Sweet little practice amp - big on looks - OK sound (what did you expect in a 1-watt amp?).
If you are getting this amp only for portable practice and just want to hear what you are playing and do not care if it sounds
I only used for synth keyboard, not playing guitar so can't speak to that, but it can run on a 9V battery or typical stomp box A/C adapter, so handy there.
I bought this amp as a cheap practice amp for my ukulele
I suppose it's fine for the price I paid, but it really doesn't matter which guitar or what settings I use, the tone is universally muddy, like trying to sing with a mouth full of marbles and while wearing a surgical mask
If your guitar has good tone and your pickup is good, this amp is simply awesome
Quiet clean tone and nasty overdrive/distortion (gets louder with overdrive...
This amp will sound a little muddy if you are playing fuller, open chords on an electric guitar with the overdrive cranked; but WOW, if you play some lead guitar it can reproduce amazing dirty bluesy tones!
Clean tone sounds nice, overdrive is nothing to write home about, but not complaining.
There is a strange hiss that accompanies, as if the speaker adds a hiss on top of what is voiced.
I'm giving a 3 because there is an annoying hiss when listening with earphones
But I guess this was never meant to perform like a standard amp, but at least they should have taken care of the earphone hiss, since earphone listening falls directly under the application of this product.
But even with the battery disconnected and the amp plugged into the wall, the amp will occasionally produce a scratchy, noise
The hissing noise is a bit distracting, but considering that the mini amp was $20, I won't let it disturb me too much.
We just plug it in to our guitar and it makes a really loud noise that my 3 cats (shofie, boonie, and deedee) and 1 dog (chloe) can hear from the living room, and it wakes them up.
