The best part is that if the batteries go dead the headsets still work as they should (TSO), unlike my former set up that would go out at the worst possible time

I've tried both, and the David Clarks are easier to use and more comfortable for me.
While the Bose A20 Headset is still considerably the best in terms of noise cancellation ( I would hope they would be since they invented active noise cancellation ) , the David Clarks are more compact, just as comfortable to wear, manage heat build up a little bit better and the coms are crystal clear
If you’re looking for an over-the-ear headset I recommend the DC’s over the Bose.
The auto off feature works great (must select this after opening when new).Coming from the 737 previously, these would be a perfect choice
For me, the DC ONE-X was the right choice, and although different people might make other choices, it's one of those products I can recommend without hesitation.
If you are in the market for a nice headset that will last for years, the DC's are an excellent choice

Several of the online reviews of the DC ONE-X mention that the noise reduction isn't as good as the Bose A20
I've worn the Bose A20 and really like them, but what makes the DC great and this mostly applies to corporate pilots that switch seats between legs is that the mic can rotate to either side of headset without having to remove it.
the Bose has a reputation for breaking, no such reputation with the DC
Comfortable, excellent noise reduction and sound clarity.
It pairs easily without issue, and it works well for phone calls as well as to listen to music (or other audio)

My old set has better passive noise reduction, but it's a whole new world in the cockpit with this new ANR headset
Comfortable, excellent noise reduction and sound clarity.
First, without turning on the noise cancelling feature, I'd rate the passive noise reduction as good - very similar to my H10-20's, just more comfortable
I suppose the question boils down to whether the DC's have "good enough" noise reduction, and this depends on what you're flying and whether you prefer as close to silence as possible or to hear a little ambient noise
Should the batteries die the DC’s are very usable with their passive noise reduction which is much more than what the Bose A20s can offer
