Several of the online reviews of the DC ONE-X mention that the noise reduction isn't as good as the Bose A20

I've worn the Bose A20 and really like them, but what makes the DC great and this mostly applies to corporate pilots that switch seats between legs is that the mic can rotate to either side of headset without having to remove it.

Both of us agreed that the Bose is in fact quieter

If you’re looking for an over-the-ear headset I recommend the DC’s over the Bose.
