David Clark DC PRO-X Hybrid Electronic Noise-Cancelling Aviation Headset

    • DC noise reduction is not as well as bose but very close
    • Noise cancelling not as good as Bose but as whole very happy with these headsets.
    • I've worn the Bose A20 and really like them, but what makes the DC great and this mostly applies to corporate pilots that switch seats between legs is that the mic can rotate to either side of headset without having to remove it.
    • The Bose is very comfortable to wear for extended flying operations
    • you are considering a professional headset I recommend the Bose A20
    • I have owned a Bose X, Lightspeed Zulu2 in the past, but the DC Pro-X surpasses them all
    • DC Pro-X's ANR is not as quiet as Bose A20 and its sound quality is not as good as A20.
    • The noise cancellation is not as good as Bose A20, however when I use Bose
    • Noise cancelling not as good as Bose but as whole very happy with these headsets.
    • The Bose "over the ear" design is noticeably more comfortable, but this leads to a heavier headset that is more cumbersome in size
    • Noise cancelling is not as effective as the Bose but certainly adequate
