Pros: driving a pair of KEF Eggs this little amp sounds pretty darned awesome at its price point.
This is a setup I highly recommend as it is very discrete and gives you almost unlimited options of source content in the palm of your hand (there's an app for everything - internet radio, itunes, the Remote app, etc. etc.).
The LED also sticks out some so covering it in electrical tape doesn't look as clean as it could.
I'm not saying that the Lepal isn't a good unit, but after trying both with a number of home-built speakers, I have decided to connect my best pair of smaller speakers to the Dayton, and they sound great
With a good, sensitive pair of speakers like the Klipsch, you can drive amazingly loud volume distortion free
The speakers are the limiting factor in the overall sound quality obtained; of course a good source is also necessary but I am using mine with an Insignia NS-P4112 Portable CD Player ($19.95 at Best Buy; that's about as cheap as you can get!
It stayed out from 7:30 PM to about 11:30 PM - but because I had this amp as well as a battery-operated CD player, I enjoyed fine music all through the night, albeit in the dark!)This unit is so small that it will fit in an ordinary pants pocket
The music source is now this Stanton S.300 Tabletop CD Player with MP3 Compatibility, a superb CD/MP3 player which is far better than those 'cheapies' I had been using
I tried this with a portable CD player and an iPod using Paradigm Atoms and Bose 141s.
You are reading snippets from reviews of Dayton Audio DTA-1 Class T Digital AC/DC Amplifier 15 WPC
When I first looked at this amp, I was concerned that it would not have enough power for the speakers I was using, or that I would have to max out the volume of the amp to get reasonable volume levels
Enough clean power for small passive speakers I use for my computer.
Its wired to a cheap un-powered sub, which passes through to left and right speakers
Looks great small provides enough power to piss off the neighbors and get a house party going
So to summarize:If you're looking to spend no more than $50 on a little amp with great sound and more than enough power for everyday use, there may be other options out there... however this is a pretty pretty great one
This product was recommended to me by my clinic doctor; i am glad i bought it, because it sounds awesome and now i dont have to struggle to hear my LED TV.
Tired of poor wireless speakers performance, I bought this product to obtain wireless benefit and be capable of manage my play list from laptop/phone anywhere, this exactly what I got
Easy to install/configure highly recommend this product
A lot of people recommend this product for good sounding affordable bookshelf setups, and for good reason.
The bass is more solid and firm, unlike SMSL projecting sloppy bass; the human voices are much sweeter too

This little amp output sound that was warm with clear crisp highs and tight bass.

The sound quality is even very good!Back to the amp's performance:
Sound quality is very clear and volume is more than sufficient
I use a Cowan with Base Boost and the sound quality is excellent.
Not understanding anything about the poor sound quality of a low-end laptop computer, she brought over her laptop and these two gigantic speakers that were originally out of a movie theater.
and they offer superb sound quality as well) and also see just how good a T-amp is
Less of a hiss than my last cheap amplifier (lipai brand, that was 5 stars on amazon).
This little amplifier works flawlessly so far with my pioneer sb22
The amplifier works great and is able to be plugged into with a audio jack to connect to your smartphone.

I now own TWO of these extremely efficient and great sounding amplifiers (I also own the Dayton Audio DTA-100a Class-T Digital Amplifier 50 WPC which is just as good-sounding) and I give it my highest recommendation, for its sound quality, for its construction quality, and especially for its ability to be run from batteries.
But shortly afterwards the amp smelled like it was burning and my right speaker popped
This amp is amazing, both for the price and the size (and the battery-powered feature).
Overall, this little amp is a steal for adding an additional zone to your audio system.
I shall look for a different cheap amp for my Miccas and Dayton Subwoofer, but it's too bad this one had problems because based on the reviews, it seems like this would have been a great cheap amp.
Although I am not very proficient in home audio I feel like this is a very good little amp.
The DTA-1 looks like an exact copy, in black, of the original Sonic Impact T amp, right down to the shoddy build quality
This is a setup I highly recommend as it is very discrete and gives you almost unlimited options of source content in the palm of your hand (there's an app for everything - internet radio, itunes, the Remote app, etc. etc.).
I would love to report that the DTA-1 sounded great with them, but it turns out that my old Optimus Pro77 speakers looked great, but they were blown.
I didn't want the cheapest t amp option and this
I simply cannot recommend the Dayton DTA-1.I am returning mine
