The Dayton Audio EMM 6 precision electret condenser microphone is designed for measurement and critical recording applications where extremely flat frequency response and a true Omni directional polar pattern is a must for accuracy.
The price is right and the product quality appears to be very good!
Nice quality build, perfectly calibrated and overall the product is just what you need!Pros: great build, great price, carrying case, mic grip includedCons: none so farIf you are buying the DBX
The price was right, and I received it a day before it was supposed to arrive.
This is a tool that does its job at an affordable price
This item certainly is the place to start before going in debt to find out that it is not about price or name recognition, but performance at a reasonable price for quality much better than the price would suggest.

Worked great for room measurement, and honestly also is a fantastic little mic for capturing an acoustic guitar and vocal scratch track (or for other idea archival purposes since you only have to set up the one mic and hit record).
It will capture a very natural sound as well, but it's still not a very good recording mic.- Similar products used: Sound Professionals binaural mics
This mic is not expensive and comes with its own calibration file
It's a nice mic and you can get a calibration file on this exact microphone by plugging the serial number into Dayton's site.
This mic will be awesome if it also can be used for vocal, else it will be underused after you are done treating your room
They ship with it a specified measurement data sheet for the mic curves to give more accurate measurements according to its frequency response
Great, simple, and cheap measurement microphone
the best measurement mic ever
For the money you get a very accurate measurement tool with it's own calibration curve.
