BUT of 3 try's and descriptions which said they would NONE of those could play a data disk with .AVI files; since I had a library of 40 disks this was disappointing to say the least!This unit does play those disks, although it's a bit noisy playing disks.

It was even dropped and did not quit playing or scratch the dvd.

The dvd player looks nice and easy to use but it also makes noise when dvd is playing

It has quit playing or scrambled several times while watching a movie this seems to happen most when the move ends and is trying to restart.

Purchased this player to replace a much smaller one that started to freeze as well as for long drives and keeping my daughter entertained

It has been nice to be able to plug it into the wall as well as in my car.

It plays the videos smoothly, no swirling noise as it plays
